Renan and Yuri arrived at the hostel and we went to see the city we hadn't seen before...<\/p>\n

The most beaten and touristy spots =D<\/div>\n
Until then we had only stayed around the hostel, or gone out at night... so we hadn't seen much of the city...<\/div>\n
This time, in the clear, I observed every millimeter! Seeing the people, the places, the alleys, the smells, the colors... everything I could remember, I kept... and little by little I began to remember how beautiful and happy that city was \ud83d\ude09<\/div>\n
The car drove along, and they kept saying... this is where Ivete lives... this is I don't know what... over there is blah, blah, blah... and soon we stopped!<\/div>\n
\"-<\/a>First point, Model Market<\/a>but nothing there is cheap... normal prices, nothing cheap =( I took some money, there was a 24-hour ATM inside and we moved on...<\/div>\n
I told the guys that I'd rather walk around and see everything nearby and then go \"shopping\" afterwards... for two reasons... firstly I didn't want to carry bags... and secondly that I could see if I could find cheaper things outside lol<\/div>\n

In front of the Model Market<\/a>is the Lacerda Elevator, which connects the lower city with the upper city =D,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We took the elevator, paid fifteen cents to go up, it's a symbolic price, I think for maintenance and so on, but if you think about it... the amount of people going up and down... it's a considerable amount!!!<\/div>\n
Well... we went up... I thought it was much bigger, the ascent was really fast... and the elevator is all enclosed, I had also thought it was with a panoramic view... which would be much smarter! And worth it for the beautiful city and view \ud83d\ude09<\/div>\n
\"-<\/a>We got to the top and headed for Pelourinho, many people had told me that it stank and there were lots of beggars! Once again I saw nothing of the sort! The city didn't stink at all... much less was it full of annoying hustlers... Of course I wasn't going to go out at night, without anyone in the city, or go into dark alleys lol.<\/div>\n
Little by little I heard various drumbeats... and some people together =p lol<\/div>\n
It was the Olodum people, I thought it was great... because there were very little children who were part of Olodum... the cutest things in Munnnddoooo =) we walked behind them... until we reached a more open corner =p in front of the City Museum and the Jorge Amado House \ud83d\ude09<\/div>\n

There was a circle of gringos, playing the terror, drumming a lot and really well! Some creepy Japanese guys, a crazy guy with stylish hair... and some ladies were part of the scene, while the Olodum guys rested for a while.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

We really enjoyed the music and saw the contradictions of cultures coming together in the same thing =p showing that in music there is no difference in language or understanding...<\/div>\n
Shortly afterwards, Olodum started... and we went on and on... we stopped in some little shops and saw some pretty things, some beautiful comics among other cute things =D and when we saw it we were already near the Lacerda Elevator again =) the guys bought ice cream, we stopped for a while to take pictures of the city from above... and Renan bought us a very pretty flower made out of banana leaves!!! Very delicate indeed =D
\nWe saw some people in the square nearby... dancing with an open car next to them and the stereo going...<\/p>\n

There were about five guys and two girls dancing. Run away wonder woman, run away superman lol and very excited, dancing as if no one was watching lol
\nAfter the show we went down to the Model Market<\/a> I took very few things, the Senhor do Bonfim ribbons there were 20 for one real, so I bought them... but blouses, souvenirs and so on... weren't worth much... so I took the basics anyway... since I didn't know when I'd have a chance to buy again...
\nWe walked around a lot, took lots of photos and continued with our sightseeing...
