I took a normal train that connects to the metro, I just had to change carriages, got off at a transition station and that was it, I made the change easily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I stayed at Nerva Accommodation<\/a> I got there easily from Rome airport by train and metro, the hotel's station is Cavour, very close to the Colosseum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Of course, I'll start with the best gelato in the world, or for us mere mortals, \"ice cream\" if it can even be called ice cream. It's located near the Trevi Fountain, and there are several flavors, it looks like a sweet from the Gods and to pass through Rome and not taste it is heresy!<\/p>\n\n\n\n Well, I don't even need to talk about the Trevi Fountain, it's a beautiful place, both at night and during the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n St. Peter's Basilica is breathtakingly beautiful, but when I went looking for it, I ended up finding the Vatican Museum first, which doesn't just have works from the church, it has a LOT of good stuff, and it's well worth it, not to mention that there are works there like the Sistine Chapel, which is impossible not to fall in love with, but I had to queue very long to buy the ticket and get in, it's very crowded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n It's an enchanting place, another must-see in the city. The ticket price is a bit scary, but you can't die without having seen such an important place, not to mention that the Colosseum ticket entitles you to the Roman Forum, which is another place that takes you back in time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Magnificent, every step of the way one building is more beautiful than the next, with incredible lighting at night, it's worth going at both times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n I rented a scooter, but the traffic there is absurdly CRAZY! And the map they gave me was the same thing, so if you don't have time like me, and you're renting a scooter too, be very careful! There are streets that you can't enter, and intersections where you almost die, because the cars enter anyway, of course there must be some logic to it, but I didn't understand it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Quick snacks -> Near my hotel, or the cavour metro station, heading towards Colosseo, there's a mini market, where I starved myself with snacks and soft drinks or near the Vatican there's a large market, where I bought my salads with pasta for 4 euros, and bottles of water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Restaurants -> I went to a good restaurant, near my hotel or the Cavour metro station, in the direction of the Colosseum, on this street there are several options with wonderful pizzas accompanied by glasses of wine, which are not to be missed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Well, I hope I've helped you with some tips. TIP: Always have a bottle of water with you, even if it's empty. The city has several points with public drinking fountains where you can fill them up. Piazza Venezia and the Vatican are some of the places I can think of with drinking fountains.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
TIP: The pizzas in Rome are individual and a little larger than the size of a plate, but don't be alarmed by the size, they're so good that by the time you see them, you've already finished them.<\/h5>\n\n\n\n
