\nThe son of a miner, I've been to Belo Horizonte a few times, but I've never had the opportunity to visit this beautiful place.

\nLocated in the city of Brumadinho, about 60 km from Belo Horizonte, the Inhotim Institute is today home to one of the most important collections of contemporary art in Brazil and the largest open-air art center in Latin America. Its name, according to the residents of Brumadinho, derives from an expression used in the past to refer to the owner of the farm where the park is located. Senhor Tim, which in the language of the locals became \"Nh\u00f4 Tim\".
\nThe park has a lot of green space and numerous art galleries, both indoors and outdoors. The flora on site is extremely rich, with a botanical garden that surrounds practically the entire park.
\nI'm a total layman when it comes to art, but both I and the people who were with me during the tour were dazzled by the beauty and diversity on display. To get to know the park properly and see all the works on display, it is advisable to make at least two visits and these can be done entirely on foot, or there is also the option of buying a special entrance ticket that entitles you to be transported from one gallery to another via golf carts, which are scattered throughout the park.
