{"id":4060,"date":"2017-08-27T14:19:13","date_gmt":"2017-08-27T14:19:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com.br\/tailandia-com-crianca\/"},"modified":"2017-08-27T14:19:13","modified_gmt":"2017-08-27T14:19:13","slug":"tailandia-com-crianca","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com.br\/en\/thailand-with-children\/","title":{"rendered":"Thailand with children"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">A delicious surprise<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Our trip to Thailand with the kids was incredible, but we heard one key question a lot:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You're really going to Thailand with a child?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Everyone sees the country as total fun or complete romanticism, but why not a destination for<br>\nfamily?<br>\nWe went and we were undoubtedly surprised, and the one who enjoyed it the most was our little one.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OHJPye3LiYk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are a few surprises we had and plenty of reasons to go to Thailand with a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">1st - Cultural gain<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, every trip brings with it an indescribable amount of culture and learning.<br>\nBut Thailand is incredible and completely different from Brazil, which makes it even more special.<br>\nOur little one is only 2 years old, but he's managed to absorb a lot!<br>\nThailand with children turns out to be quite a surprise, as it's a big amusement park for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_9445Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6308\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>He enjoyed every temple, every dragon or Buddha, loved the elephants and saw the monkeys in their habitat<br>\ncompletely natural.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/tm5xYy9HNEI\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>They enjoyed the food and made friends with different languages, understanding each other just by looking at each other. Traveling is always a good opportunity to learn more with the little ones, for them, language is not a barrier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_9824Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6311\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Okay, but Cris, surely he won't remember this trip clearly... Well, I'm sure he will<br>\nall this contact with a completely different culture, full of stimuli, will be present in your life.<br>\ndevelopment. Learning about and respecting other cultures will be one of the legacies of all our travels,<br>\nespecially to such different places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">2nd - A completely child-friendly country<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>There are few places I've been so welcomed with my little one! These days we're walking in<br>\nOn the other hand, hotels and restaurants that do not accept children are becoming increasingly popular,<br>\nbut I felt completely welcomed wherever I went, in fact, I ended up being better many times over<br>\nreceived precisely for being with our little one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_9785Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6310\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Thailand is already known as the country of smiles, but at the sight of my little one it became the country of<br>\nlaugh. Everyone took the greatest care in the world to serve us in the best possible way and leave<br>\nthe little one is very comfortable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/20170626_145816Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6312\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I thought the care taken with the children in general was brilliant and I felt really good! Better than in my<br>\nown country, and even though not everyone speaks English there, they were friendly even in mime!<br>\nWhen it came to food, they always offered it without pepper and even then they asked for it<br>\nso I could try it first to see if it was OK!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/20170628_0229000Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6313\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\nIt's cute, they're all VERY delicate, I love it, I wish every corner was like this, this was one of the reasons that surprised me when we went to Thailand with children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">3rd - Elephants<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Thailand is known for its elephants, and they are even a strong part of the culture.<br>\nhandicrafts and even clothing. The sad part of this story is that there is a very strong exploitative culture and<br>\ndespite their size, these animals are defenseless.<br>\nBeing able to create awareness in my son from a young age is something I always try to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/20170626_011351Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6306\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\nSo we went in search of places that didn't mistreat animals like this and discovered<br>\nsome \"elephant farms\", mainly in Chiang Mai. I did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that the most respected is the Nature Farm, where all work is voluntary, visits are limited and the elephant is left to roam free.\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure><iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/bwyqw0rsBE4\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We ended up not going anywhere near Chiang Mai and visited a farm in Krabi, Ao Nang Safari, but we didn't really like what we saw there. On the other hand, it was all we had left and this would be a unique experience for my son, so we opted for a program that wouldn't mistreat them. We followed the elephants on foot, bathed them and fed them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_0578Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x900.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6307\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>I read that in Chiang Mai's Nature Park, they are rescued elephants that have been mistreated by others<br>\nand they deserve a lot of love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><em>On this walk I explained to the little one the importance of not hurting them! Even if he doesn't understand<\/em><br>\n<em> very much, I showed him that rides on these animals are VERY bad, he certainly absorbed that we must<\/em><br>\n<em> take great care of these big guys.<\/em><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>I wanted to find something similar to the Nature Park, which encouraged care rather than exploitation,<br>\nbut we saw things we didn't like, and besides, the less exploratory program cost three times as much as the other ones.<br>\nother programs.<br>\nWell, little by little we're trying to create a critical sense in the child and showing them these details is very important.<br>\nimportant for this. Without a doubt, this was the highlight of traveling to Thailand with a child.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">4th - Monkeys<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The country has monkeys everywhere, and they're not the kind we're used to here in Brazil!<br>\nThese are really big capuchin monkeys who are completely immersed in nature<br>\nBeing able to show the animals in their habitat was incredible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_2121Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6305\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\nI hope we don't fall so far as to wipe out more species of animals in the world.<br>\nShowing them happily in the wild in their flocks and habitat certainly helps to reinforce the importance of<br>\nfor animals to continue in the wild.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">5th - Beaches<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/20170628_002211Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with kids crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6314\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The beaches are warm, quiet and crystal clear! Perfect for taking the little ones and relaxing.<br>\nWhile I lay on the sand or swam a bit, Emmanuel played and ran around in the sand or<br>\nin the little waves that were his size.<br>\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As he used to say, Mom, this is the pool beach!<br>\nWe didn't see a single beach with strong waves, they were all delightful and showed why we should go there.<br>\nThailand with children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_2379Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with children crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda 2\" class=\"wp-image-6304\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A perfect natural aquarium with many species of fish and incredible landscapes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">6th - Hotels<\/span><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Thailand is also known for its low prices and wonderful hotels!<br>\nWe were able to take advantage of villa hotels, luxury hotels and wonderful resorts at daily rates<br>\nconsidered average around here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/08\/IMG_1868Taila\u0302ndia-com-crianc\u0327as-crisstilben-crispelomundo-Ko-Lanta-Krabi-Bangkok-Ao-Nang-Ko-phi-phi-Ko-phoda-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Thailand with children crisstilben crispelomundo Ko Lanta Krabi Bangkok Ao Nang Ko phi phi Ko phoda \" class=\"wp-image-6303\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\nI was really impressed by the quality of the country's hotels. This is perfect for families, who<br>\nusually travel with a lot of people and need a good structure.
