Super anxious, we packed our bags and set off, crossing the city to enjoy a different side of Rio.<br \/>\nDid you know that Barra da Tijuca is home to the Pantanal Carioca? There are beautiful landscapes along the way in a very busy Rio that deserves to be highlighted.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Surprises and more surprises at our accommodation in Barra<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>As soon as we arrived, we saw a huge sign saying \"#EU AMO BARRA\" and a beautiful mirrored building in the background.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7197 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/BARRA-DA-TIJUCA-CRISSTILBEN-CRIS-PELO-MUNDO5-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"I LOVE BARRA DA TIJUCA ACCOMMODATION IN BARRA DA TIJUCA CRISSTILBEN CRIS AROUND THE WORLD\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><br \/>\nAll the grandeur of the Hilton and the certainty that I had made the right choice regarding our stay in Barra.<br \/>\nWhen we walked through the door, the charms didn't end, with spacious, beautifully decorated rooms and very friendly staff.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-7219 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/C0014-1HILTON-BARRA-CRISPELOMUNDO-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"HILTON BARRA RIO \" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><br \/>\nWe were warmly welcomed, with broad smiles and friendliness. Emmanuel slept well all night in the crib on our side of the bed.<\/p>\n<p>If you're traveling with older children, there are options for shared rooms, which give parents more privacy.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Pampering<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Another thing I love about rooms is the coffee machine. I'm hooked!<br \/>\nBeing able to enjoy a lazy afternoon with the little one, drinking my coffee while Dad went to the pool, was super nice!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7215\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/C0003-1HILTON-BARRA-CRISPELOMUNDO-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"- Cris Around the World\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><br \/>\nWe had some time to ourselves, with lots of jumping on the bed and drawing.<br \/>\nThe Nespresso coffee machine comes with two-capsule blends of coffee, tea or even powdered milk.<br \/>\nI think it's lovely to be able to have a coffee in your room at any time.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">And the surprises were endless!<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>While we were in our lazy moment with jokes, we were surprised in the most carioca way.<\/p>\n<p>UEBAAA!!! Biscoito o Globo and Mate Le\u00e3o, with a welcome card! Like a good carioca, the little one ran for the mate and devoured the cookie.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Bathroom<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>It's large, white and great for bathing the little one, as it has plenty of space.<br \/>\nWomen also benefit from a well-lit mirror and a mirror specifically for make-up.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7214\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/MG_6770HILTON-BARRA-CRISPELOMUNDO-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"- Cris Around the World\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><br \/>\nI thought it was great that as well as a hairdryer, there was a scale to keep track of our extra kilos, lol.<br \/>\nThe amenities kit is from L'Occitane, with a very pleasant scent and a very moisturizing coating for the skin.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Rooftop of the Hilton Barra<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>I thought this was one of the biggest differences between the hotel we stayed at in Barra.<br \/>\nThe rooftop of the Hilton Barra is one of the hotel's main attractions, whether it's the pool, the sunset, the view or even the on-site bar.<br \/>\nMost of our hotel experience was in this location.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Swimming pool<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The infinity pool is an invitation everyone who stays or visits the hotel can't refuse!<br \/>\nFrom the 9th floor you can see a beautiful view of Barra da Tijuca.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7213\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IMG_6879HILTON-BARRA-CRISPELOMUNDO-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"- Cris Around the World\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><br \/>\nWhile I was enjoying the heated Jacuzzi with hydromassage with Emmanuel, Igor was going for a swim in the huge pool that is attached to the Jacuzzi.<br \/>\nOf course I couldn't resist and had my moments of swimming, after all I'm crazy about water and the blue color of the Hilton's pool is wonderful!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7200\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/BARRA-DA-TIJUCA-CRISSTILBEN-CRIS-PELO-MUNDO13-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"BARRA DA TIJUCA CRISSTILBEN CRIS AROUND THE WORLD1\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/p>\n<p>The guardian was very cordial to us and offered us towels and noodles to make the most of the pool.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Sunset and pool bar<\/span><\/h4>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7222\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/hilton-sunset8-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"- Cris Around the World\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/p>\n<p>The sunset from the rooftop of the Hilton is too beautiful! The sky takes on an absurdly reddish color.<br \/>\nSpending a few minutes there enjoying a good drink is super enjoyable.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Academia<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The gym is also on the 9th floor. I didn't exercise, I just visited the space and noticed the good equipment.<br \/>\nIt's great that you don't have to leave your exercise routine while staying at the Hilton Barra.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7212\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/DSC07437HILTON-BARRA-CRISPELOMUNDO-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"- Cris Around the World\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><br \/>\nAnother differential is having a Physical Education professional on hand to help you perform the exercises.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Breakfast<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>For me, this is the happiest time of all!<br \/>\nI'm really looking forward to seeing what treats are in store.<br \/>\nCoffee at the Hilton Barra is served on the first floor in the Abelardo restaurant, which also functions as a bar and restaurant at other times.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-7208\" src=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/MG_6788HILTON-BARRA-CRISPELOMUNDO-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"- Cris Around the World\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" title=\"- Cris Around the World\"><\/p>\n<p>Very well decorated, with fine furniture and a pleasant atmosphere.<br \/>\nIn a huge station, there are cold cuts, breads, cakes, fruit and everything else.<br \/>\nAs soon as we sat down at the table, the first thing we were offered was coffee and then we were asked if we wanted anything else. Shuttles to and from the subway and Barra Shopping or Village Mall are also available at set times.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Beach Concierge<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The hotel also offers the Beach Concierge, with towels, umbrellas and chairs, with all the usual Hilton cordiality.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Kids area<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>During the summer, the Hilton Barra offers a kids' area for families during the school vacation season. Unfortunately, we didn't get to know it, as we went at a different time, but they prepare a whole space for the little ones to play, with monitors on hand.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Pets welcome<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Another service that blew me away was Pet Friendly!<br \/>\nYou can take up to two dogs weighing up to 34 kg each, WOW! There are two large dogs and they give you all the support you need.<br \/>\nBed, food and water bowls. Please note that pets are not allowed in the food or pool areas.<br \/>\nThere is an extra charge for this service.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Internet room<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>As this is a very popular business hotel, I thought this part was essential.<br \/>\nThey have a whole room with computers and printers for you to use at your leisure.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">What we thought of our accommodation in Barra da Tijuca.<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I was happy to be able to feel how pleasant and well received we are in the Hilton network.<\/p>\n<p>The hotel is of an incredible standard and everything inspires luxury.<br \/>\nI thought it was wonderful value for money, as the rates are amazing.<br \/>\nIt's well worth it, if only to spend a weekend in a wonderful setting.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The surroundings<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Barra da Tijuca is a well-structured neighborhood in Rio de Janeiro, with LOTS of entertainment and dining options.<br \/>\nVisiting Rio and enjoying this side of the city is a delight.<br \/>\nBarra is home to the city's longest beach, so if you want to read more <a href=\"https:\/\/crispelomundo.com\/barra-da-tijuca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">click here.<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Metropolitano Shopping<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I loved having a shopping center right in front of the hotel.<br \/>\nWe went to the Metropolitano to have a few meals and buy some water along with some sweets.<br \/>\nWe also went to the mall to play with the little one.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Olympic Park<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>Very close to the hotel, we find the Olympic Park, about 5 minutes from the Hilton Barra.<br \/>\nSome of the city's events take place in the Olympic Park.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">More information about the Hilton Network<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>The Hilton Barra was the first Hilton Hotels chain hotel to open in Rio de Janeiro! There are a total of 298 rooms on an impressive 14,000 m\u00b2.<\/p>\n<p>It is perfect for business and events, with 10 meeting rooms and 2 ballrooms with a capacity of up to 500 people, as well as easy access to corporate offices, convention centers and shopping malls.<\/p>\n<p>It is also interesting for families looking for a different perspective on the city. As well as being excellent value for money, it is also 15 minutes from the best beaches in Barra da Tijuca, shopping malls and restaurants.<\/p>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Hilton Honors<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>I don't even need to mention other reasons and benefits of such a renowned chain, do I?
