How we send our money from Brazil to Portugal<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Many of the questions we get after coming to live in Portugal are related to the financial side of things.
How do I send money abroad? What is the best way? How do you do it? Is it through the bank? Today we use Online shipping.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, we've done it many ways, from bank transfers, which by the way is the worst of them, to Western Union, Transferwise and Online shipping.<\/a> And I can tell you that the easiest ones are: the Online Shipping<\/a> and Transferwise. Without a shadow of a doubt, both are the ones I've used the most in my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, like everything in life, of course, there are good and bad sides to both, for example: Transferwise has a very low limit on one-off or annual transactions, allowing you to send a maximum of 50,000 reais in a year without having to show your IRS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Online Shipping<\/a> has a limit of 75,000 reais per year and 37,500 per day. To make transactions with larger amounts you need to show the IRS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the annual submission limit, the Online Shipping<\/a> has still won in terms of the currency rate, and there's also the question of the cost of the operation!     However, like everything else in life, there is a downside, the Online Shipping<\/a> only makes the transaction via TED, unfortunately the Online Shipping<\/a> does not work with boleto Banc\u00e1rio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    So don't forget to factor in the value of the TED, or know how to use the TED very well, as I do. In my account I have two free TEDs a month and I use them in these cases or when the transfer is high, the exchange rate beats the difference in the value of the TED and the transaction ends up being more advantageous even if I pay the TED.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
