First day in Chile!

What awaits me?

Ah, I've finally woken up in a new country!

But the bad news just kept coming! I went to sleep thinking about the trouble I was going to go through, but I had no idea ... what was to come!!! There, there

I went to breakfast telling the capixabas everything we had been through! That at the last minute they paid for the hotel in Buenos Aires, that the plane broke down and was repaired, that we arrived at two in the morning without transportation because the company, Star Travel, hadn't paid! That half the flight was traveling with Star Travel and that they had also suffered the same as us! And worse! They complained a lot about the hotels they had been put up in!!! One passenger even commented that he had to lather up the bathroom wall and then scrub himself to be able to put the soap on his body, because the bathroom was so small!!!

I sent a message to Igor telling him that I had the same problem at the hotel in Chile and to contact the company, as this hotel was very expensive!

Ahhhh but we were hoping that Chile would be very different and that only good things would come of it =D

My dream, my dream!!! We left the café straight for the reconnaissance, but with a very important tip from the receptionist!

Be careful, there's a student demonstration going on today, so don't hang around the street too much and be careful, it could get serious! Avoid walking around!

Pfff.. you'd think so, wouldn't you? Okay thanks, we'll be careful =) it shouldn't be a big deal 😉

Ahhh, it wasn't... As soon as we stepped outside the hotel there were policemen with "tanks" and things that were really intimidating, people gathered with clown noses, banners and very eye-catching protest things! So far so good =D police and protesters coexisting very well!

We saw everything and took pictures, we thought it was great! We walked down the street and we were very close to the main points of the city!

He told us that there was a museum underneath and took us to the other side, saying that that was the front, not the side we were looking at (facing Avenida Libertador).

La Moneda Santiago de Chile.

We went to the right front and took a LOT of photos! One of the capixabas was playing capoeira with Gabriel in front of the Palace and then a guard came and said that circus acrobatics were not allowed in front HAUHAUHAUHAHA

What have you ever seen! In the middle of a demonstration, two crazy people playing capoeira... oh my... just these crazy Brazilians!

While we were taking pictures and watching everything happen... 4 people were running around the Palace as a form of protest holding a banner, they wanted free education and I thought it was a very noble cause!

From there we went for lunch, it was almost noon and we still had no idea where to eat... we went for a walk and hunted for places, since the beautiful company Star Trave sold us a package with a city tour and it wasn't honored due to their lack of payment to the Chileans!!! We were on our own in Chile, even though we had paid for the service.

We walked around, got to know everything, went into stores, looked at prices, took photos, laughed at some advertisements like, HOLA MI PERU, which was from a telephone company, or the coffee houses, with window film, and with advertisements of women at the top, HUMMM wellmmmm suspicious! HAUhUAHUHUAH
What's more, the boys wanted to go in and said they'd only go in if I went along, could they? In the end, no one went in and we thought it was just a coffee shop 😉
We finally found a place to eat! In their central market, there was a lot of fish and seafood being sold! Among the restaurants, by this time we could feel that the atmosphere had become heavy! We sat down to eat and MANY students entered the market banging pots and shouting in protest! We could also see people running down the street, almost in desperation!
Meanwhile, the waiter tells us the options.....
