Valle Nevado!

And the season is almost over!

I'm crazy about snowboarding, and I loved my experience there in Chile! I can't wait to be able to enjoy it again, and this time with my little guy, can you imagine him all cuddly playing in the snow?
Of course, if I'm talking about snowboarding and skiing in Chile, I have to mention Valle Nevado! This is where the Valle Nevado Ski Resort is located, the largest ski and snowboard resort in South America.

A lot of morals, isn't it? Luckily it's right next door to Brazil and when we miss the snow we can get there more easily lol.
The July vacations are approaching and this is the best time to visit Valle Nevado, with countless attractions and guaranteed fun for the whole family.

Daily schedule

Valle Nevado is great for the whole family and has incredible programming that goes far beyond the snow with magic sessions, card games, family bingo, live music in the restaurants and 3D movies!
For the little ones, the Hotel Puerta Del Sol has a Kids Zone.
There's a whole area just for them, with lots of entertainment, monitors to reassure parents, video games for the older ones and lots of workshops to occupy the kids. The program is announced at breakfast every day.

Valle Nevado and lots of snow!

Obviously Valle Nevado takes its name from the fact that it has a lot of snow, and the snowy attractions couldn't be left out.
The little ones can have a snowball fight or build dolls. Or maybe the Jardin de Nieve! A fun little snow school for children aged 4 to 9, where they can learn a bit about sports.
Of course, they won't be going off down the gigantic mountains, they'll start with the cable car adaptation safely and without fear.
Valle Nevado thought about the comfort of parents when it set up half-day and full-day excursions with lunch with instructors specializing in children.
I thought this was a great move, after all, sometimes we want to relax too.

News for 2017

Valle Nevado will have some new features this year, such as Domo Sport.
It's a space right next to the reception of the Puerta del Sol Hotel where children and teenagers can do sports activities and get together.
There will also be a food truck selling sandwiches, churros and French fries! Nhammm, I want some.
On some dates there will also be extra activities! I wonder if I can make it on July 26th? there's Crazy Hat Day! Guests can go skiing or simply stroll around the complex in their crazy hats.

Emmanuel has one that would certainly be a success!
There's also Cosplay or Costume Day on August 9th. Can you imagine the mess the kids won't make there? Or on the 12th and 13th with the Winter Carnival! There will be lots of cool activities, such as the human sledding competition and the Iglus.

I can't wait to take my little one!

I can't wait to take Emmanuel to the snow, he's sure to have lots of fun running around and playing!
It's true that your snowman can't be perfect. With our help, everything turns out great and having such moments together is priceless.
We've always strayed a little from the traditional, and travel-loving dads don't just live for Disney! Next month we land in Asia, enjoying Thailand and Singapore, it's going to be quite an adventure!
