Paris tips.

Paris

City of great battles, revolutions and Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, rich in history and full of monuments that make the city unique! Not to mention the fact that it is home to the most visited paid monument in the world, the Eiffel Tower is a beautiful building that will take anyone's breath away! I can't forget to mention the museums and even less the palaces, which are easy to visit, like Versailles with its magical garden.
Let's get to the Paris tips! These will help you not to miss a second in the wonderful city of Paris!

[small_header]Transportation[/small_header] I've arrived! Paris, what a joy! City of light, and a lot of anxiety in my chest! I want to see everything, but first I need to get to the city center and out of the airport! I was at Roissy Charles de Gaulle, and I found some public transport options to get to the city center.
I chose trainIf you have a lot of luggage, this can be a problem, as there are some transfers and stairs that are always present at the stations! For those who prefer not to worry about this, there is the possibility of taking the bus.

My choice is always the train for one simple reason: it's easier to get around where you don't know, the route is written down at the stations, where you pass or stop, and you're told the name of each station you stop at, which the bus doesn't do and I always get a bit lost.
I've put two useful links here for buying public transport and the train with some additional tips, such as a map of the lines to help you plan your journey.

Another very good tip is PARIS VISITE , a metro option that lets you travel all day for a fixed price (there are packages with more days), you can also choose the zones you want to travel through on the day and pay more or less for this pass, not to mention that they also give you a map of the city with various discounts around the city, which is very interesting.
A word you'll see a lot on the subways or trains in Paris is sortie, which means exit. I don't speak French, so it took me a while to understand it.

The metro is all connected and once you get the hang of it, you can get anywhere in the city with it and that's how I got around.

The sights aren't too far away, I took the pass for zones 1 to 3 and it was more than useful! The only day I didn't do this was when I went to Versailles, which is further away.
[small_header]Food[/small_header] Market, whenever I talk about saving money on food, especially in Europe, I mention the market, I always find good and cheap things to eat, and they're not things to cook, no! It's ready-made stuff!

Shredded chicken with noodles, salads, fish, great and tasty things! Not to mention the wines that can be bought for ONE EURO, and chocolates that are very expensive here for 2 or 3 euros.

If you want to save money at the restaurant, lunch is cheaper than dinner, even if it's the same dish! Not to mention that I've come across places that charge a minimum price per person for dinner.
The service is difficult! You have to wait a VERY long time to be attended to, and they do it as if it were a favor. There were very few places where the staff was friendly, I only saw it on the Champs-Élusées.

[small_header]Accommodation[/small_header] The place I found coolest for younger people, especially to stay (much cheaper) is near the Moulin Rouge, many say it's dangerous, but I didn't see anything too bad and it's also near the Sacré-Coeur , a beautiful basilica where young people hang out on the steps singing, drinking and having fun in the evening, not to mention the alleys near this basilica which are very tidy, beautiful, full of restaurants and with many souvenir stores which are generally cheaper.

Paris

[small_header]Palace of Versailles[/small_header] Transportation to Versailles is very easy, you don't need to buy a package to go there. Although it's a bit far from the city center, the train does it easily and it's decorated like a library, beautiful beautiful!

I only had one problem there, buying the tickets at the Palace! I spent THREE hours in the queue, which is really long, not to mention that there are two queues, one to buy the ticket and one to get in, so if you're going with someone else and you can't buy the tickets beforehand, leave someone in the palace queue and go to the other one to buy the ticket, that way you'll save time.
In SITE I took the package that included the Palace (museum) with the gardens and the Trianon Petit and Grand, I paid 25 euros for all three, but if you don't like museums and beautiful works of art, you should be VERY happy with the garden, which is only 8 euros, with no queues.

paris tips
One place you can't miss is the palace garden! It's something out of this world and it's not expensive, 8 euros is well worth it, the garden is very large and don't go thinking that you'll be satisfied in an instant, that's impossible, the place is enchanting and gigantic. set aside a good amount of time for this.
If you don't have time, you can go straight to the gardens, you can buy a separate ticket directly at the entrance, but if you want to see the palace and the Grand Trianon and the Petit, you'll end up paying more if you buy separately.

[small_header]Other tips.[/small_header] Walking along the Champs-Élusées is a real pleasure, especially for those who like cars. There are lots of window stores with real car museums! I went into every one of them and didn't regret it, but I have to confess that by the end of the street my feet were blistered and sore - the street is huge!
For women who like to store in stores like Louis Vuitton, this is paradise. I don't like it very much, but I went in because it was an attraction in itself, with its handbags costing around 20,000 euros.

paris tips
There are several restaurants on this street, most of them with French people who welcome you with open arms and smiles on their faces.

One place I discovered by accident was the terrace of the Lafayette GalleryThere you can rest for a while and still have a privileged view of Paris! You can see everything from above, it's a mall full of good brands, with a food court with fast food and there's also this hidden treasure!

Don't miss the National Academy of Music! One of the most beautiful buildings I've ever seen, with golden details and the faces of the most famous musicians of yesteryear, Beethoven, Mozart, among others. It's simply beautiful and as I had a long walk, I ended up using the staircases as a pit stop.

Crepes, paninis and waffles are not to be missed! In addition to being a quick meal for a busy day of sightseeing, they are extremely delicious and well priced!
