Aracaju's beaches and their well-structured shorelines - Our second day.

The Atalaia waterfront, the most beautiful in Brazil!

Today we woke up and enjoyed breakfast at the Del Canto Hotel, with tapioca, bread and cakes, we ate well and Emmanuel ate his little egg with bread!
It was going to be a busy day, so making the most of this meal was ideal!
We'll get to know Aracaju's beaches, along with its wonderful shores!

Crab Walkway

The TopTour van was waiting for us at around 9 a.m. and we headed for Orla do Atalaia, the first stop among Aracaju's beaches!
First we visited the crab walkway, took lots of photos and Emmanuel was scared to death of the crab lol.
I think the culture here is really cool, they say that eating crab is much more than just enjoying the meat, it's an act of de-stressing, almost like a sport!
Sitting down with friends and breaking things up with hammers is a great way to leave problems right there, hehehe I think I'm going to incorporate this at home.

Atalaia waterfront.

We continued along the Orla do Atalaia, the most famous of Aracaju's beaches.
We visited monuments, walked along paths that lead to the beach and obviously took a LOT of photos. The waterfront is absurdly well-structured, there's even a tennis court, skate park and go-kart track.
Everything is designed with the community and tourism in mind, encouraging all kinds of sports and outdoor experiences.

Parati bar and restaurant on one of Aracaju's best beaches.

We were delighted once again, but we continued along the waterfront in the direction of Aracaju's other beaches and soon arrived at the Parati Beach Bar,
Located on the beach called Mosqueiro, it's a great option for those traveling with babies or children, with bathrooms, beach chairs and wonderful food!

We spent hours, which seemed like minutes, enjoying the sea, Emmanuel ran a lot!
We had a marvelous little fish with perfect drinks, one more beautiful than the other! It was hard to leave hehehehe, but there was something nice waiting for us!

Sunset waterfront

We took a boat trip along the sunset promenade, through the incredible scenery to Praia do Viral, a sandbank where the river meets the sea, with warm and calm waters, where we played a lot with the family, but it is more rustic and has no structure.
But it's still a good way to get to know all of Aracaju's beaches.

We would go to Croa or Ilha dos Namorados, a beautiful place that you can see here by clicking hereBut the tide was too high and we'll have to visit again another time.

SUP Friends.

Oops, the sun is almost down and we still want to SUP up there in the sunshine.
A very cool project here in Aracaju, with a mix of everything good, sport, tourism and social projects.
Otávio does an incredible job of encouraging children who are SUP friends to study.
From time to time he also takes the kids for a SUP and at the same time removes garbage from the river, thus preserving this water mirror paradise, which reflects every beautiful sunset.

What a lovely day.

Sun, beach, river, sports, speedboats! We were tired, but we had one more pit stop to make before heading back to the hotel.

Jane's pastry

Jane's Pastel, where I went last time and fell in love with, full post click here.
I love it because it has a great kids' area! With highchairs, toys and videos, with songs and everything.
We ordered the wonderful pastel de camarão com catupiri and the escondidinho de carne seca accompanied by caldo de cana. It was reminiscent of our childhood, all lick-your-lips good!
I'll tell you, this tourist business gets tiring. Now I'm going to bed because tomorrow there's MUCH more!
