Anyway, I managed to get into HotelI was very anxious and worried, so I went straight to reception to ask if they had solved the problem, and as I already knew.... NO! I told the boys to go upstairs, because I was still going to try to sort it all out and then I'd meet them... I went straight to the wi fi area... I called Igor, via the internet... and received the excellent news that I was, according to them (Star Travel), at the WRONG HOTEL!!!!! When I received this news... I stood there for a few seconds without even breathing... I counted to 10 and asked HOW SO?????????????? Then came the reply... they said it was canceled because you were supposed to be at another hotel!!! In another street and another place! It's funny that the city was impossible to get around in, let alone leave a hotel without having to pay the costs I'd already incurred, and the daily rate was very expensive! Of course, I couldn't forget that I didn't have a transfer from the airport to the hotel and that I went to the hotel that had the voucher! With the name and address of the hotel! So it couldn't have gone wrong. I explained all this and told them that I couldn't leave, so they could sort everything out and that my card would probably be maxed out and I wouldn't be able to pay for the days. Everything was clarified and the company said it would sort it out! So I went to meet the boys in their room, the girls were there too and we chatted for a while... until I got really tired and told them I was going to my room to have a shower, change my clothes and have a nap....
But as soon as I got to the room, I looked out of the window to see how everything was. I saw that there were still people gathering and water rolling and blah blah blah.... Meanwhile, the boys decided to go to the street and buy something to eat, since it was impossible to go out in that mess! It was late at night and we thought about going out to the more bohemian side of the city, the Bellavista neighborhood, which had been recommended to us, with its bars and more nocturnal activity. On the way out of the hotel there were fires in the street, cars being stoned, people running from one side to the other, water and so on, not to mention the fact that everything was now dark by nightfall. From the window of my room, I could see the area and the desperation that must have been going on outside. Since I wanted to go snowshoeing early the next morning, I didn't want to risk it and everyone agreed.
Gabriel arrived a little later with an excellent sandwich with steak and French fries nhammm, not to mention that he had prepared everything =D , my dearest friend in the world 😉 They bought a two-liter soda, the other boys bought other sandwiches and we had the picnic in my room, since it was the biggest of all and had plenty of tables and space =) I think that if they hadn't gone out looking for something open in that situation and bought it and brought it back for me, I would have starved to death, but leaving the way everything was... I couldn't!!! Not to mention that EVERYTHING nearby was closed. We ate well, chatted more, arranged the next day's snow and puff... we decided to sleep so that we could be up at 6:20 and have time to do everything, we didn't want to leave in a mess and we also thought that there wouldn't be any protests so early... *Continues...* *Pictures*
