The City Tour, Buenos Aires!

The City Tour, Buenos Aires.

Ah finally!!!
We headed for the mini bus, and there were already a few people waiting for us! And off we went on the City Tour of Buenos Aires, Argentina!
There were two men sitting at the front, with two empty seats at the back and two women next to them... and a few more quiet people towards the end...
A few moments into the conversation, we found out that more than 50% of the bus was traveling with Star Travel and that they had all had the same problem as us!!! It sounded like a scam, but I kept quiet and got everyone's contact details! And I waited to see what would happen... since it was still Sunday and I hadn't spoken to the company yet!
From then on, the quiet of the bus was over! These four joined us... and that was that!
They were both from Vitória, one from Curitiba and the other from Santos... and we were both from Rio de Janeiro!
The guide began to talk... showing the city and the driver gradually appeared... making one comment or another...

During one of the pauses when he really started talking... we stopped briefly near the Pink House, where there were some chocolates to give away... we took about 3 photos... then the driver started asking us about the teams and where we were from and things like that... until then everything was normal...
The 6 of us started talking to the driver... and the guide's voice started to get a bit low... she was from Argentina... she even tried to speak in Portuguese and pay attention to us... but when she realized that she was being completely ignored... she decided to speak only in Spanish and leave the F*&¨... since no one was paying attention to her....
We made our first stop, Recoleta... we stopped near the cemetery and the guide told us that if we wanted to, we'd have time to go there... that the late Evita (Eva Perón)  was buried there and was a tourist attraction!
But look at me! I've never been in a cemetery before... Am I going in now? To see the grave of a woman I've never even met? No?
I went to the opposite side where there was something really interesting! The little market in Recoleta =D I wandered around... I had a look... and my consumerist side really isn't there... I didn't buy anything =) I just observed...
At the agreed time we got back on the bus and we all waited for two girls who hadn't come back yet.
In the meantime, the driver began to loosen up more... he talked to us about music... he mentioned pagodas he had, sertanejo and even funk... he talked about Brazilian women and his dream of coming here to meet them...
He asked the boys which ones were the most beautiful here, and that he had heard that the best ones were in the South!
The capixabas quickly retorted that the best women were from there, my friend said they were from Minas Gerais... and the blah blah blah began... we waited another 5 minutes and the women still hadn't returned...
The guide explained to us that she couldn't wait any longer, that she had looked for them and that thirty minutes was too long... then she asked if she could leave and we all agreed 😉

We went on to La Boca, the guide took us to a store where we tried dulce de leche and a stop that was like lemon cachaça, very good but expensive !!! We took photos with the statue of Maradona, which was really ugly!!! We left for a while and walked around the neighborhood... but it was a quick game... soon we were on the bus again... and I was asking... what about La bombonera!?!!?!? AREN'T WE GOING? The guide... faced with this question... asked the rest of the group... do you want to make an extra stop?!!? OF COURSE!!! For a change, only the 6 of us answered hauhauah and off we went... 15 minutes and that was enough, we got on ... took a little ride and we were already in the bus seat once again ... I had already been to all these places last year... so I only needed a few minutes to remember them...
From there we went to the San Telmo market, which luckily was working, as it was Sunday and that's the only day this antiques market is open... but it was late and almost all the stalls were closing too =(
The day was winding down and with so much talking and things to see... I'd even forgotten to have lunch!
We spoke to the boys and girls and decided that we would go to Puerto Madero and eat at Siga La Vaca... according to the girls, it was very good! And others had already told me about it!

It was a place where you could drink... water, wine, beer and soft drinks... as much as you wanted... meat all you wanted and even more salad... for only 104 pesos... not to mention that sweets were also free at the end... and all for that price! Very good! And I was starving!
Hummm nosssaaaaaa how delicious!!! Everything really was wonderful! And the guys who served the meat were very strange.
My friend arrived at the table indignant... saying that he ordered a picanha and a hip, and the guy almost hit him... saying that it was the same thing!!! I, of course, was too picky... I went over and ordered the same thing!!! And when I got back to the table... everyone laughed... because the guy gave me two different cuts of meat!!! And he didn't say it was the same thing! HAUHUHUhUhauha My friend (Gabriel) was pissed but he laughed a lot and said that everything is different with women =)
During dinner we discovered that the 6 of us were going to the SAME hotel in Chile, and that we were leaving on the same day! It was all very coincidental... because only the 6 of us on the whole City Tour were going to the same hotel at the same time! And from the beginning we were the only ones who really spoke to each other. The girls were still traveling on their own... so it really was a coincidence and the boys, despite being with Star Travel too... were the only ones we knew who were going to the same hotel as us!
We left there and the 6 of us walked through Florida... the girls went to their hotel and the boys went with us to ours... we talked a bit, we even thought about going out at night... but exhaustion wouldn't let us, and I still wanted to go to Zoo Lujan, early the next morning =)
So after a lot of talking we rolled over =)
