Arriving in Buenos Aires.
As I had arrived very late, and the day had been really exhausting and stressful... I ended up not seeing anything or feeling the city... Although I've been there before... every trip is a trip and the place changes...
I woke up before the alarm went off, grabbed my clothes and headed for the shower... the shower was really good! Not too hot, not too cold, an incredible shower and there was even a bathtub... what a treat!
I got ready and tried to push my stress to the side... we went down to the Café... and what was waiting for us? So many surprises that I was even scared... especially given the recommendation that came up at check-in. WHEN YOU GO FOR COFFEE, DON'T TAKE CAMERAS, CELL PHONES, PURSES! NOTHING!
I thought it was strange that you couldn't take these things to the café, which was in the hotel itself! But I followed the instructions... and locked everything in my suitcase before I got off!
I went downstairs ready to leave later... I just had to finish my coffee, grab my bag and go... as I went downstairs I began to smell something delicious... ALELUIA! A nice surprise! The coffee was great! With lots of fruit, pastries, cakes, cheeses, a huge platter of cold cuts... coffee, yogurts and much more...
I was still hungry from the day before.
So I started with sucrillos with yogurt, then bread with cheese, cottage cheese and salami, then jam and more cheese... and I added chocolate to the coffee with milk... it's all coffee with milk and chocolate... and I'll tell you... it was good! IT WAS VERY GOOD!
Now all the stress was gone... finally fed decently =D I couldn't miss my trip because of the company's mistake, right? Not to mention the fact that I was hoping that everything would be sorted out the next day without any problems. My dream, my dream...
I ran upstairs, grabbed my things and we went out to explore the hotel's surroundings... We walked through Florida, I saw the hostel I had stayed in the year before, it was still there, beautiful and cozy... I would have preferred to have stayed there =/ but the company gave me a hotel...
So let's go to the hotel... which is THEORETICALLY better (you'll understand later)
We walked up to Avenida 9 de Julio, which is really huge... several lanes and really beautiful... we took pictures of the Obelisk there, we walked around Florida a bit more, we looked for things to buy, but we left that for another day, several places in Florida had street artists doing something, either musicians or comedians or something like that... but we only stopped to watch a couple of tango dancers doing a beautiful show in the street... and by the time we saw it, it was time to go back to the City Tour!
We ran a little to be on time and everything worked out! Shortly afterwards, the girl who would be doing our City Tour arrived...

Rs
