Breathe romance in the most romantic city in the world!
As soon as Paris entered our itinerary, I thought: OBA! Honeymoon! Even though we're going to enjoy the city with our little one, we can't forget that we're still a couple. That's why we wanted to enjoy a bit of romance, and so the question arose: What's the best accommodation option in Paris to have a romantic night and still have good facilities for the little one?
That's a tough one, isn't it, dads? Normally a hotel either welcomes little ones or is mega romantic, but I think we've found the solution right in the heart of the city.
O Hotel Therese is a 4-star boutique hotel with beautiful decor! All decorated by Jean Louis Deniot, who went for luxury and good taste.
You can feel at home and welcomed in every room, with calm and soft colors.
The hotel's policy is to make guests feel at home, and everyone works hard to achieve this. We could see this as soon as we arrived, the staff were extremely friendly and did everything they could to make our little one feel at home, and so did we
We were very well received.
As soon as we entered the hotel, we could see the good taste! All the rooms are beautifully decorated, giving you a pleasant feeling.
Smiling and very friendly staff, Emmanuel soon made friends! Of course, I had to mediate the conversation, but they also managed a few words of Portuguese.
While Igor filled out the check-in papers, Emmanuel and I sat in the lobby.
The lobby is extremely cozy, with aromatic water for any moment of the day! We felt very welcomed, and that definitely counts when choosing accommodation in Paris.

Afternoon Tea
As if they couldn't be more receptive, the Hotel ThereseThe hotel offers afternoon tea. It is available in the lobby from 4pm to 6pm with a few treats.
However, as we only stayed for one night and this day was full of sightseeing, we didn't get to enjoy this treat.
Location
O Hotel Thereseis located on Rue Therese, an extremely quiet street where your dreams will be peaceful and pleasant.
Of course, when looking for accommodation in Paris, location counts for A LOT! That way you don't waste time getting around and you have more time to enjoy the city.
The hotel is right in the heart of Paris, and while the street is quiet, its surroundings are bustling.
In fact, the name of the street couldn't be more in keeping with the luxurious atmosphere of the Hotel Therese. Rue Therese was named after Maria Teresa of Spain, wife of Louis XIV.
We really felt like queens when we stayed there.
Surroundings
Paris breathes history in many ways! And just by taking a few steps we almost tripped over the Palais Royalor the musical notes of the Opera don't reach your window.
The hotel is very well located and close to several must-see tourist attractions
If you walk a little further, you'll come across a huge pyramid that holds some of humanity's secrets. O Louvre is just 500m from the hotel.
Is the Therese an excellent choice of accommodation in Paris or not?
In addition to the main attractions, you can also find many bistros, markets and restaurants, especially Asian ones, in the cross streets.
Bedroom
We stayed at Mansarde Experience - ClubIt is 23m² and can accommodate up to 4 people.
The room has a beautiful view of Rue Therese and its unmistakable Parisian rooftops. Waking up and opening the window is delightful.
The bed is wonderful, needless to say I slept like a queen! The bed is a queen with pillows and blankets of excellent quality that were more like feathers.
In the meantime, our little one slept in his cot, which I loved because it was a sofa bed, so there was protection so he wouldn't fall over.
We enjoyed a lovely romantic breakfast in bed while Emmanuel was still dreaming of Disneyland Paris.

Pampering
In addition to all this Hotel Therese It also offers bathrobes and slippers, as well as the traditional coffee and tea machine that you can drink at any time.
I love it when the hotel offers this, it makes my evenings so much more enjoyable, I love tea before bed.
Bathroom
The all-white bathroom is simply huge! It has a great bathtub and a shower that makes you relax and rest from walking around the city.
Our little one spent hours enjoying the bath in his almost swimming pool lol.
Another strong point, which I really liked, was the hairdryer! Very powerful and wonderful, in minutes I was beautiful and ready.
Breakfast
As I said, we had breakfast in bed! I loved it because they give you the option of having it in the restaurant or in bed and there's no extra charge.
As our aim was to enjoy a romantic evening in Paris, we didn't think twice and chose the bed.
The day before you can tell us what time you want your coffee and what you'd like on the menu, and the next day you can start the day on the right foot!
We enjoyed it while the little one slept and then woke him up to have his chocolate with scrambled eggs.
I recommend it, it's a delicious way to start the day, we love it.
Romantic accommodation in Paris with children!
I thought it would be impossible to reconcile the two, but the hotel's pleasant atmosphere managed it.
At the same time as our little one was very well received and had everything he needed, we were in a luxury boutique hotel in a romantic setting.
I loved being able to spend at least one day in this atmosphere and also enjoy romantic Paris, even with our little one.
The hotel is very well prepared to receive you and does everything it can to ensure that you have the best possible experience.
