If you've ever visited Christ the Redeemer, you've probably struggled to take that perfect photo. Finding the perfect angle with a crowd vying for that selfie is almost mission impossible!!!

But don't worry, your problems are over with the new experience offered by Airbnb in partnership with Paineiras Corcovado, read on and I'll explain.
To visit Rio de Janeiro and not think of Christ the Redeemer is sacrilege. A tourist who is a tourist MUST climb Corcovado Hill. Well, the request was accepted and we got to know the Christ the Redeemer almost without anyone, including breakfast at the iconic Hotel Paineiras, now a visitor's center.

Think it's impossible? It's not a contest or a toothpaste promotion, it's easier than you think, I'll share with you how to do it.

Airbnb trips 

The Airbnb platform was already great for giving us the option of renting houses as if we were locals. Now it's even better, because it gives us the option of immersing ourselves in the city with experiences as if we were locals.
From bike rides along the Carioca waterfront with Cariocas...lol to hiking trails and exclusive corners that only we Cariocas know.
However, the cliché couldn't be left out, but even that they managed to improve!
As a good carioca, I've been to Christ a million times, but not like this.

To begin with, the tour includes transportation and breakfast and is limited to 20 people. We'll arrive before everyone else who wants to see this beautiful tourist attraction, no matter how much they fall out of bed, we'll be there before everyone else!
It's true that a poor man's joy is short-lived, it only takes 40 minutes to photograph, appreciate and enjoy all that silence before that world of people with guides speaking every language on the planet. Even so, it's a unique experience that I really enjoyed!!!!!

Breakfast

After this unique experience, we got back in the van and went straight to the old Paineiras Hotel, where the Paineiras Restaurant is today!
We had lunch there once and it was wonderful, I loved the value for money and the view was amazing.
Having breakfast with the city at your feet is wonderful.

Bread, cold cuts, muffins, coffee and a very pleasant morning!

Our little one loved the cheese bread and ate a lot of cake with us, lol A day of treats doesn't hurt anyone.

Paineiras Visitor Center

We've visited this center a few times; it has exhibitions that show the greatness of our nature.
Beautiful and instructive panels to help us better understand our fauna and flora.
I thought it was great and very interactive, our little one was glued to every detail.

It's great to be able to encourage this knowledge from a young age.
After all, they're the ones who are going to look after our planet!
There's a special corner for the little ones to learn through play, and we spent a few moments with Emmanuel blindfolding the animals or touching their faces and seeing what happened.

Souvenir store

The store is a complete paradise.
With a range of tasteful products that would make some decoration stores envious.
I go crazy every time I pass by and I always take some toy for the little one, lol.
Hold on to your pockets, lol, or you'll leave a lot of money there.

I'm suspicious because I love tours of this kind, especially when they involve nature and tourist attractions in one.
By the way, did you know that Corcovado is in a National Park? And that one of Don Pedro's houses used to be there?

The tour goes far beyond just going to Christ the Redeemer! I loved having a few minutes practically on my own there and getting to know more and more of my beautiful city.
