And who said that Rio de Janeiro is a summer city?
Here you can "go sightseeing" all year round!
There's everything you could imagine for all tastes 😉
Well, since I live in the Marvelous City, I decided to give you some tourist tips from here too! And the videos will be coming soon 😉 There are so many cool things that I get lost when it comes to choosing.
Today I'm going to give you a delicious gastronomic tip! It's great to spend the holiday in a good restaurant =) not to mention that there are a thousand options for those who don't eat meat at Easter, fish that never ends!
One of my favorite foods is Japanese, and Manekineko is one of my favorite restaurants in Rio de Janeiro! The decor is beautiful, the service is great, the dishes are very tasty and the presentation is perfect! You can also eat with your eyes.
A few days ago I went to try out the fall novelties, and discovered another dish that has made it onto my list of favorites: squid hot roll, which even those who don't like Japanese fall in love with!
Crunchy, spicy, melt in the mouth, aiiii, just remembering it makes me salivate hehehehe, and for
to accompany this wonder I ended up drinking a new drik, Plum Dew Ice Tea, very refreshing and light, the combination is very good 😉
Of course, as much of a foodie and curious person as I am, I wanted to try everything, and it was all so tasty!
I ordered the Chips of cassava with haddock, which is a little spicy, for those who have a slightly sharper palate lol, because it comes with a very good pepper jelly, which gives the dish a kick, and it doesn't burn your mouth, it's pepper in the right measure, they think of everything!!! A shimeji skewer, which just melts in your mouth, just remembering it makes me hungry!
There was so much new that I almost forgot, there was also a special fall mix, 44 pieces in perfect harmony, a good choice for a couple in love, I enjoyed it all with my boyfriend, between conversations, laughs and kisses 😉
I took several photos of the dishes, which I loved because they were so well prepared, and I stayed there, observing the work they put into making us feel at ease and being well looked after. Every detail was thought of, from the lighting that was placed on the tables, with beautiful candles, to the detail on the walls, I felt very comfortable and it was a good end to the evening after a busy day.
Of course, a delicious dessert couldn't be missing to round things off!
And who likes dulce de leche? In little tubes with apricot crumble? Nooooosssaaa, it was heaven on earth! It couldn't have ended better, I left almost floating with so much good stuff!
And that's how Manekineko won me over once again.
I hope you've enjoyed this delicious tip and I'm sure there'll be tips on hiking, beaches, parks and other things I like here soon!
Are you curious about the dishes? Hihihi I'll post the pictures =p
