We arrived in Buenos Aires and went to the hostel!
We got on the plane and only had time to go up, spend about 10 minutes up there and we were already going down!!! It seemed like I was going from Rio de Janeiro to São Paulo very quickly! In total, it probably didn't take even forty minutes!!! And we slept a lot in the meantime! We caught every sunrise from the airplane window... it looked like it was rising in front of us and not above. Ahhh we finally arrived in Buenos Aires! Argentina! We've set foot on its soil! Thank God! It wasn't as cold as Uruguay!
We picked up our bags... everything went well this time! Suitcases all right... documents signed... passport stamped uffa... the tiredness was strong!
The airport was a 15-minute drive from the hostel... we got off at the domestic airport, which is inside the city o/! The other one is a bit far away and it was going to be another trip lol We took a taxi and went on our way happy and content, already starting the marathon of photos of EVERYTHING... the sleepy faces were apparent in each one... but the happiness of having arrived at the place was also clear...
The taxi there was normal, there was no division between passengers and driver lol I felt more normal this time...without being accused of being a bandit =p
So where are we going? Calle Florida, please. Which number? Ahhh I don't know! What now? You don't know
Hostel Suites Floridano!? Shiii leave us on Calle and we'll look for you... lol
Remember... all the dialogues were in Spanish... and at the time mine was still a bit raw!!! But every day I improved =D Uhulll lol
He dropped us off at one end of Calle Florida and we started walking. Lucky my suitcase had wheels. Because we walked a LOT, the hostel was ON THE OTHER SIDE... at the end of the street, almost... I wasn't even tired...
Ahhh!!! We're here! What a little hostel! I liked the entrance and the reception! Very friendly and nice!!! They told us we had to go upstairs, check in, get the keys, see if we could go to the rooms and have breakfast, since it was 8 o'clock in the morning!
I went upstairs, talked to the guy... he was the nicest of all... he said that they had just cleaned the room and that we could go upstairs, no problem! =) We paid what we had to pay, got the keys and went upstairs with our suitcases.
The room was a mixed room for six. There were four free beds... and two that seemed to be occupied... but at the moment empty... we zoned out in the room... grabbed our lockers... chose our beds and went downstairs to have coffee! Hungry! We hadn't eaten anything yet!
We didn't know what was waiting for us at the breakfast table, we didn't know anything and we went in the dark, it was a different culture, right? And when we arrived ... Surprise... Hummm what a treat!!! Yoghurt, coffee, milk, dulce de leche, bread, butter and everything you could think of... it was all very tasty, the dulce de leche... not to mention... I was hooked! I took some for later =p lol
Fed and very happy... hmm we finally went upstairs to rest! Eyes deep... and exhausted...
when we got to the bedroom... there were two bodies lying there... one under my bed, which was a bunk bed, and the other on the bunk bed next to it... on top! They had their faces covered to hide from the sun... and we had no idea how old they were or what they might look like... we only saw that they were two men...
Tiredness was creeping up our bodies... that feeling that we're going to fall over at any moment... was becoming more and more present in our being... we set the alarm to wake up around midday and managed to lie down and get some sleep... to replenish our energy so that we could finally get to know the new country!
