Synopsis Season 1 Cris around the World:
Every child dreams of visiting Santa's house, don't they? So how about going to the North Pole and saying hello to the good old man? That's what the Cris pelo Mundo family decided to do with their 3-year-old. Between breathtaking landscapes and many countries along the way, the Cris Pelo Mundo family shows that the European winter can be much more fun and enchanting than you might think. Who would have thought that a three-year-old would fall in love with classical music? Or that the cold of minus 27 degrees can be easily circumvented, especially when accompanied by the mesmerizing Aurora Borealis?
It was 60 days of adventure with the family, including trains, cars, motorhomes and even an ice-breaking ship on the frozen sea! There were many emotions and sensations until we met the good old man, passing through France, Switzerland, Austria, Croatia, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Germany until we reached Finland by train through the European continent. Episode 01:
Meet the Cris Pelo Mundo family and embark on an epic adventure to the North Pole by train across the European continent. In this episode, they set off from Paris towards Switzerland, more precisely to the Lake Lucerne region. Along the way, they offer tips for traveling by train in Europe, passing through enchanting scenery, experiencing a luxurious hotel, haute cuisine and plenty of adventure in the Snowy Alps. The Cris Pelo Mundo family invites you to change your perspective on family travel.
Episode 02:
Who hasn't dreamed of visiting the Swiss Alps? In this episode, the Cris Pelo Mundo family presents a solution for economical and sustainable accommodation, as well as introducing you to everything the Interlaken region has to offer. It's a movie set! The Schilthorn mountain was part of one of the classic films in the 007 franchise, "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", and the village of Mürren is high up on the mountain and reminds us of the world of make-believe, with lots of family fun and tips for enjoying the destination of Interlaken.
Episode 03:
If you've ever thought about visiting Switzerland, you've certainly imagined yourself trying a lot of Swiss chocolate, right? Then get ready to eat with your eyes and enjoy a lot of fun with the Cris Pelo Mundo family, who have learned how to make chocolate. In addition to the chocolates, on the way to the next destination to the North Pole, we stopped off in Zurich to visit a hotel housed in a building that used to be a traditional Swiss brewery. The highlight is the spa with thermal water pools installed in the tanks where the beer used to be stored. You'll drool over all the delicacies and refinement in the land of cows and snowy Alps.
Episode 04:
Who hasn't heard of Vienna and its strong connection with classical music? Everyone already knows that Austria is a sought-after destination for its refinement, history and tradition, but that all this could involve families with small children is news. In this episode, the Cris Pelo Mundo family presents Vienna in a different way for those traveling with children and gives a fun perspective on the Vienna House of Music. In addition, of course, to presenting the entire history of the city that was an icon in Europe during the Austro-Hungarian empire. Get the popcorn ready, get the whole family together and introduce the classical world to the next generation.
Episode 05:
The Cris Pelo Mundo family continued their tour of Vienna's No. 1 neighborhood and discovered some peculiarities presented by guide Pablo. Almost everything in Vienna is music, including a building made of blocks that emit musical notes. But there's also lots of fun for the little ones in an interactive space divided by age and also a museum that invites us to experience new perspectives in the world of optical illusion. The next morning, with the snow freezing, the alternative was to take a carriage ride through the streets and alleys of one of Europe's most classic cities. How about visiting the oldest park in the world, which still has a Ferris wheel from 1776 in full working order?
Episode 06:
The Prater is the oldest amusement park in the world, but that doesn't mean it's outdated. For example, it's home to one of the world's most innovative restaurants! Here, the order taken on a tablet is placed by robots on rails and the food arrives by roller coaster to the table. And if you think that's it, you're wrong. Emmanuel wanted to fly like Peter Pan so badly that his wish came true!
The whole family enjoyed the free fall simulator. On our last day in Vienna, we headed to the summer residence of the Austrian imperial family, Schönbrunn Palace. In the children's museum, the daily life of the 18th century is presented to children in an entertaining way. And if we're talking classics, there's also a project that promises to awaken children's interest in the main operas in a playful and entertaining way, the Schönbrunn Palace Puppet Theater. Emmanuel got excited about the iconic character from Mozart's Magic Flute, Papageno, have you ever heard of him?
Episode 07:
It's time to move on to our next destination, Zagreb in Croatia. The Cris Pelo Mundo family presents tips for traveling around Europe by train and shows what it's like to make the long journey from Austria to Croatia, all with little 4-year-old Emmanuel, who didn't let up along the way. When they arrived in Zagreb, they were introduced to Iva Peroković, who showed them details of the city and Croatia's most recent confrontation, during the war of independence. Curiosities about the country's capital are presented in a fun theme by the Cris Pelo Mundo family. Do you know who invented the tie?
Episode 08:
The Cris Pelo Mundo family continues to Zagreb, Croatia, and presents some interesting facts about the history of the country's capital. If you've ever thought of traveling to Croatia, you probably already know that it's a beautiful country, famous for its crystal-clear beaches and medieval castles, the setting for famous TV series. What few people know is that close to Zagreb, there is a paradise called Rastoke, near the Plitvice Lakes, which in winter boast unparalleled beauty with their frozen waterfalls. Get your popcorn ready and be amazed by northern Croatia.
Episode 09:
The Cris Pelo Mundo family is heading for yet another destination in the direction of the North Pole, but before they do, they've noticed a flaw in their trip planning. Now they need to figure out how to get to Italy, from where they'll have to take a rented motorhome through the Austrian Alps to Germany. Along the way, the scenery is beautiful, passing through the iconic cities of northern Italy. First stop, Venice. Follow the travel routine of the Cris Pelo Mundo family on their first experience with a 6-seater motorhome.
Episode 10:
The Cris Pelo Mundo family's first night in their rented motorhome wasn't easy at all - the heating system failed during a freezing night in Venice. Follow the saga the family faced to fix the problem, which delayed their plans but was essential for making an important decision. Embark on this adventure through northern Italy, past Lake Garda and on to Verona, the city of Romeo and Juliet.
Episode 11:
The story of Romeo and Juliet has been known for centuries, but this time the Cris Family Around the World presents an improved version, from the point of view of little 3-year-old Emmanuel. It's also an opportunity to get to know the magic of Verona, a city marked in history since the dawn of mankind, famous for the beautiful love story of the world's most famous couple. Cris offers tips and details of the charming Italian town.
Episode 12:
After getting to know the city that was the scene of the world's greatest romance, it's time to take the motorhome to the Austrian-German border to see one of Europe's most visited monuments, the fantastic castle of the Mad King of Bavaria. The iconic Neuschwanstein Castle inspired Walt Disney to create Sleeping Beauty. On the way, a short break in Innsbruck to get to know the beautiful Alpine town. Join the Cris Pelo Mundo family on this epic journey through the Alps amid unique scenery and enchanted castles.
Episode 13:
Maybe the atmosphere in the mad king's castle is really weird, but in this episode, everything that seemed to be going well turned into a challenge on the motorhome journey from Germany to Italy. The windows started to come loose and plans had to be changed in the middle of the blizzard. When they arrived in Salzburg, still snowed in, the solution was to head for the science and technology museum. Follow the adventure of the Cris Pelo Mundo family on their way to Mozart's birthplace.
Episode 14:
Salzburg is considered the birthplace of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, one of humanity's greatest composers. But it also carries a lot of history and tradition in its streets, squares and buildings. To better understand the city of the Prince Archbishops, the Rome of the North, the Cris Pelo Mundo family took a walking tour of the city's historic center with sunset at the Salzburg fortress, tips, curiosities about the city and lots of family fun.
Episode 15:
The Cris Pelo Mundo family is still in Salzburg, Austria and is surprising you with tips on the many options the city has to offer. The Toy Museum is one of these options, and anyone who thinks that only children will have fun there is mistaken. It's a great opportunity to learn through play and reminisce about childhood. Speaking of nostalgia, how about going back in time? More precisely to the year 1790, at a dinner typical of Mozart's time in a restaurant frequented by the Mozart family themselves. In this episode, the Cris Pelo Mundo family shows that it is possible to travel and unite interests for the whole family, and you'll also see that even children are touched by Mozart's operas.
Episode 16:
If you're planning a trip to Austria, especially to the Salzburg region, you need to include the beautiful Hallstatt in the Dachstein Salzkammergut in your itinerary. In this episode, the Cris Pelo Mundo family presents a snowshoeing option at the top of the mountain. Hallstatt is a World Heritage Site and bears traces of human presence from the beginning of time. Hallstatt's history began at least 7,000 years ago! Episode 17:
Still in Austria, Cris, Igor and Emmanuel get to know the Gosau region and are enchanted by the natural landscapes of the frozen lake in a scenery that enchants, especially by the contrast of the landscape throughout the seasons. They then head to their next destination, Prague. Discover an exhibition made of scrap metal that enchants the imagination of adults and children alike!

Still in Prague, the Cris Pelo Mundo family presents some interesting facts about the city of Prague and a fantastic, fun dinner! Have you ever imagined yourself living a medieval experience, with belly dances, duels, period food and lots of fun? Follow the adventures of the Cris Pelo Mundo family in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and then be surprised by what Prague has to offer families.
Episode 19:
The Cris Pelo Mundo family continues its journey towards Poland, in Krakow. During this part of the trip, the aim is to relax and the highlight is the luxurious accommodation facing Wawel Castle, a penthouse full of pampering. But of course this family can't wait to get to know a new destination, especially when the story involves castles, kings and dragons. Get the family together to discover Krakow.
Episode 20:
This time the Cris Pelo Mundo family prefers to fly across the ocean from Poland to Norway. On the way is Oslo, and a stop to stretch our legs in the streets of the Norwegian capital. Visit the gateway to the Norwegian fjords, the city of Bergen, and discover the enchanted universe of the fjords.
Episode 21:
Follow a family adventure with lots of fun and information at the Bergen Aquarium. Come and learn while playing with little Emmanuel, who has become aware of the need to preserve the oceans. Bergen is a World Heritage Site, one of Norway's first cities. The highlight is the typical buildings in Bryggen, one of those magical places that seem to have come straight from the silver screen. And if the weather doesn't lend itself to outdoor activities, the city's science museum is fantastic! Get the family together and enjoy Norway - after all, traveling as a family is possible and a lot of fun!
Episode 22:
Now heading for the Arctic Circle, the journey is beginning to take on the predominant white of Sweden's frozen forest. But first, a short break in Gothenburg to visit a fully interactive and entertaining science museum, essential for a smooth ride on the long stretch to Swedish Lapland. The destination? A frozen paradise called Harads and a hotel of tree houses, one more creative than the other. And of course, the first chance to see the long-awaited Aurora Borealis. So what now? Will they make it?
Episode 23:
Now it is! It will be their first night in the Arctic Circle, with a real chance of seeing the first Aurora Borealis of their lives. Will they make it? Ever closer to the land of Santa Claus, the Cris Pelo Mundo family arrives in Finland. But don't worry, before Santa, there's lots of fun to be had in a hotel completely made of ice, as well as lots of fun in the snow, with a snowmobile ride on the frozen sea. Is it possible to face such extreme temperatures with a small child?
Episode 24:
Following their adventures in the Arctic Circle, Cris, Igor and Emmanuel cross Finland to the north of Norway, Kirkenes. Yes, it's the top of the world, right next to the North Pole! Together, they were able to discover another ice lodging option and catch giant crabs. Then came the most awaited moment of the whole adventure. Cris, Igor and Emmanuel arrive in Rovaniemi, the city of Santa Claus. This is the main moment of their journey, when they finally meet Santa Claus and get emotional in a magical moment with a sleigh ride and lots of family adventure.
Episode 25:
After a lot of excitement and fun in Lapland, it's time to head back to southern Europe. Along the way, different routes, passing through cities such as Copenhagen and Berlin. In Germany, in Berlin, the Cris Pelo Mundo family presents an itinerary for families, highlighting lots of fun in the miniature city of Berlin, Lego Discovery Center, Sealife and much more.
Episode 26:
It's time to say goodbye to this fantastic experience on the old continent. Final stop, Paris, where it all began. Cris presents details of the city of Paris, and little Emmanuel had the chance to see Notre Dame cathedral still intact, before the 2019 fire. There were many magical and exciting moments throughout the season and the mission was accomplished. Family travel is possible and a lot of fun! Check it out!
