Brazilian Orlando - Gramado and Canela with children
Enjoying Gramado and Canela with children is easy, there are a thousand and one options, things to do for months!
It was me, my husband and my one-year-old, which helped to narrow down the attractions.
But we still went crazy with so much, so I'll tell you what we found unmissable.
Caracol Waterfall Park
The Parque Cascata do Caracol is a must-see for all ages, it's actually in Canela on the RS 466, it has 25 hectares, barbecues, tables, toilets, running areas and lots of trails!
And without a doubt, it's an excellent choice of attraction in Gramado and Canela with children.
Admission costs R$ 18.00.
It was my second time in the park and the first time I ventured down the 927 steps to the base of the waterfall! Well, as they say, going down is easy, the view is magnificent and you get a sense of the grandeur of the place, but going up? You need to make strategic stops and get lots and lots of air into your lungs.
As we were with the baby this time, we left this little descent for next time lol.

We saw the beauty of the waterfall from the lookout point, which projects us a little ahead and we felt more immersed in nature.
Well, in my opinion, the park is a must for anyone going to Gramado and Canela with children or even alone.
Crazy about heights
For those who like a bit more height, there is the option of climbing the tower, with a 360º view from 27 meters up.
There's an extra charge for the tower and binoculars are available at the top. There's also a nice little shop where I got my pin to add to my collection.
The view is AMAZING!

From there you can get a sense of what's around the waterfall, including the rapids of the river, right before the waterfall, have you ever thought?! Rafting down there?! I don't think that would be a good idea, there are 131 meters of free fall!!!!
Fun for the little ones
What? But what about the little ones?
Further into the park there is a train that passes through a scene set among the trees, retracing the first settlers in the region who arrived from the old land.
The immigrants who were responsible for the urbanization of southern Brazil!
Full of sound effects, it's an excellent opportunity to learn a little about the history of the region.
Of course Emmanuel went crazy, what child doesn't love riding the train? At the end of the tour, we stopped off at the film village, showing the history and habits of the German and Italian immigrants.
Admission is also charged separately.
Black Lake
The Serra Gaúcha has a unique beauty, its natural attractions are incredible and Lago Negro is one of them.
It's a calm environment that gives you incredible peace! We went in the morning and at the time it was winter, the thermometers at night were close to zero degrees, a very cold period. So to feel the rays of the sun warming your soul was the best thing in the world.
That's how we felt, a delightful place! As it was a large, open area, the shy sun always made a good impression.
There's no doubt that the Black Lake is also part of the Gramado and Canela trip with children.

Perfect for relaxing.
Sitting on one of the benches and enjoying the lake, feeling all the love and happiness that the family brings us, was priceless, a unique and relaxing moment, those breaths and breaks that we need during the trip.
Of course, Emmanuel's 220v battery was soon recharged and he took off running along the beautiful paths bordering the lake. He had a great time! If we'd known beforehand, we could have prepared things for a picnic and enjoyed the place even more.
We took some beautiful photos and saw some good options for eating there.
Like the famous Enchanted Germany, where there's a delicious draft beer for parents and Rapunzel's Tower for the little ones to enjoy.
There is a fee to go up the tower, so we didn't go up.

For those who also want to enjoy a bit of exercise, combining the useful with the pleasant on a beautiful stroll along the lake, it is possible to rent pedal boats.
The tours cost around 20 reais.
The Magical Land of Florybal
If you're going to Gramado and Canela with a child, this is the attraction you can't miss! The park is entirely themed and based on the imagination of a child, the owner of Florybal chocolates.
He played and unleashed his imagination as a child, then grew up and didn't forget the magic, bringing many things from his imagination to his park.

The park is located on RS 466, km 5. It's easy to find, as you can see the giants at the entrance from afar.
Open every day from 9 to 17:30.
Tickets cost R$ 60.00 and children up to 4 years old are free.
As the name suggests, it's a magical land with the smell of chocolate!!!

The smell
We start with a mini chocolate factory with tastings and a wonderful chocolate smell, then we continue and at all times we are surprised by sound effects, robots and many attractions, the park has a good diversity!
From elements such as religious thanks, where you can feel peace and take the opportunity to give thanks, to the fearsome dinosaurs, with very realistic robots.

Emmanuel loves dinosaurs and every time he saw one he said ARGHT!!! There were so many options and robots that it took us by surprise, one ARGHT after another. It was really nice, especially to see our little one enjoying it so much!!!
We'll definitely be back

Unfortunately, on the day we went, it started to rain a bit and we had to rush on with the tour and didn't stop at the children's playground.
There is a charge of 5 reais, but they are very nice toys for the kids.
It's a shame we couldn't go! But it's a good excuse to come back, we also ended up leaving the 7d movie and the pterodactyl flight for another time.
Both also charge extra fees.
Food
For food, there is a super cool themed restaurant, upstairs full of electronic toys for the little ones to entertain themselves while their parents eat.
The fixed price with a varied buffet is R$ 35.00 for adults and R$ 20.00 for children.
We didn't eat there because we had already gorged ourselves at the Dino Lanches snack bar, which is more or less halfway along the road.
Just beyond dinosaur territory, it is also themed, with flying dinos, chairs and tables that hark back to the cave era.
The seats are made of "stone covered in leather" which is actually a furry, synthetic blanket 🙂
We couldn't have chosen any different, more fun for the little boy who loves dinosaurs, we chose super hamburgers and he stayed for the porridge.
The tour is really nice and even the parents go back to their childhood, we loved it and we already want to go back with Emmanuel, who is bigger and running around and playing a lot in the playground.
Snowland
We Brazilians really want to enjoy the snow, don't we? At Snowland you can get a taste of it. You stand in front of a huge mountain of snow with very low temperatures, and you can even play snowball wars..lol

Watch out for the little ones.
Can you enjoy Snowland when you go to Gramado and Canela with a child?
Of course, with children as small as Emmanuel, we have to take some precautions, such as going with at least one other person to take turns keeping an eye on the little one.
Children under the age of 4 are not allowed on the snow mountain, but calm down!
There's lots for the little ones
And there's no shortage of fun, with a special playground where they can slide, run, play in the ball pool and interact a lot with each other, with toilets and changing rooms and everything else the little ones need to have a LOT of fun.
We played a lot while Dad and Chico, our friend, had fun in the snow, but soon they joined us and we went to the 4D cinema, we played on some electronic toys, we had hot chocolate at the Bela Vista Lookout, where Emmanuel was able to see the snow for the first time and understand a little about it, albeit from a distance and through a huge glass window that protected him from the cold, but don't get excited, it's cold there too, with temperatures around 15 ºc .

As soon as he fell asleep, we left him with Chico and went to enjoy the Snow Mountain together. First, we put on the appropriate clothes, which are included in the entrance fee.

Soon we were hand in hand sliding down the mountain! We went up and down countless times and if we could we'd stay even longer, what fun.

Adventurers go wild!
There are also other attractions, such as shows and many other things to enjoy. For the more adventurous, it's also possible to go snowboarding and skiing, but it's a reserved area and you have to pay extra for it. I thought the price was a bit steep, R$60.00 just for the equipment for 1 hour and R$130.00 for 50 minutes of lessons plus 1 hour of equipment, as I wouldn't have all that time because of my little one, I left it for 3 years from now, next time and with Emmanuel!!!
Prices
The entrance to the park isn't the cheapest.
It costs R$109.00 in low season, R$ 119 in high season and R$ 139 during vacations and fairs.
Children up to 4 years old are free.
Lots to see in Gramado and Canela with children
The park is huge and there was still more to see.
The Alpine Village is where there are lots of stores, lol Of course I bought chocolates!
It's also where the skating rink is, there are skates of all sizes, just choose and glide!

Igor was great on the track and I was more fearful, lol.
Emmanuel watched from the sidelines, crazy about the decorations full of lights, which, by the way, are second to none at Disney.
Everything is very well done, decorated and beautiful!!!

We've heard that they're planning to expand and there's more fun to come! We can't wait!
Dreamland Circuit
The Dreamland passport includes 5 museums where parents and children will have a blast!
The price is a little high, but for 5 attractions it's worth it, especially if you're a car lover.
There's the Harley Motor Show, the Wax Museum, Hollywood Dream Cars, Super Cars and Dinosaur Valley.
It costs R$ 119.00,
Wax Museum

If you're visiting Gramado and Canela with a child, I suggest you start at the Wax Museum.
Emmanuel loved it, especially when he saw SpongeBob SquarePants, played on the pirate ship and even put on his hat!
Hihihi there's a part of Spiderman where we could play at walking on the ceiling, the photo was great fun!

Super Cars
From there we went to Super Cars, where Igor was more excited than Emmanuel and me! But the little one also enjoyed seeing the cars and playing with the ball on the second floor.
This is another attraction that can easily be included in the Gramado and Canela with children list
It's on the second floor that you'll find some games that give you discounts for the other attractions! You can also win a Ferrari ride! I did it and felt the adrenaline rush!

It's a pity that the journey is very short and the city traffic gets in the way a bit, but only on a few stretches was I able to feel what the little beast is capable of!
Harley Motor
Ahhh, but first we had to take a photo with the huge Bumblebee that stands right at the entrance.
Lastly, we left the Harley Motor, and I don't need to tell you that Igor loved it too, right? It's more of a bar, where you can have a meal and enjoy the motorcycles on display. It felt like we were in the USA, the perfect program for the whole day!
Unfortunately, Hollywood wasn't open yet when we went, but being able to see vintage cars is great. We'll have to go back hihi We also didn't have time to go to the Valley of the Dinosaurs and it would definitely be another attraction on the Gramado and Canela with kids list.
A good tip, too, are the themed pizzerias in town. There are options with pirates, forest themes and even one in the world of magic (hello Harry Potter fans). If you're interested, take a look at this content from MalaPronta Gramado.
Gramado and Canela is a dream! With attractions for all ages and tastes, it has grown every year with incredible new features! We can't wait to get back and see what's new.
