Grand Hyatt Rio de Janeiro.

Luxury and good taste on the beachfront.

We were invited to the inauguration of Rio de Janeiro's newest hotel development, which is causing quite a stir, whether it's for its great location or its excellent service - after all, the Grand Hyatt is known worldwide!
The Grand Hyatt Rio impresses with more than 2,000 square meters of event space, including two large multipurpose halls, 9 meeting rooms and an outdoor area overlooking the Marapendi Lagoon, where one of the most beautiful sunsets in the city takes place!

The hotel also has a spa, fitness center, business center, swimming pool with bar service, space for weddings and parties and much more! In other words, a real urban resort, with lots of good things for guests, like the beach and lagoon service, I was really impressed.
We arrived and the welcome couldn't have been better, with friendly and humorous staff, top-notch service and everything really beautiful, we were very curious to see every corner and the first place we stopped was the wonderful Shiso restaurant, specializing in Japanese cuisine, one of my favorites! It's hard to talk without salivating, with the freshest fish I've ever eaten! A selection of authentic sushi, sashimi and yakitori, along with sake and drinks made with the traditional Japanese drink. The service will only be available for dinner.

Great news for locals and tourists who will be in the city is that the restaurants will be open to the public! I'll definitely be there a few times.
We left Shiso and went to see the hotel, which surprised us with its 436 rooms, including 43 suites, two presidential suites and the Penthouse, which is truly jaw-dropping! Kitchen, dining room, living room, dressing room, huge bathroom and an infinity pool facing the sea on its majestic balcony, can you say it's not all good? I was drooling!

We visited their other suites, which leave nothing to be desired, and we were impressed by the executive floor, where there is the option of an exclusive breakfast or happy hour overlooking the beach or lagoon. I suggest you enjoy the happy hour with the beautiful sunset over the lagoon, it's unique!

The apartments are also very cozy and can be ocean view, with a partial view of the sea, or ocean front, with a direct view of the sea. We visited one where the balcony is very pleasant and the decor is clean, with paintings on the walls that add value to the region and blend in with the stunning scenery.
The concept of the Grand Hyatt is very cool, as it tends to favor the place where it is built, wanting its guests to seek out and make the most of the region, not to mention that it also has a very cool ecological vision, they left part of the land to be a preservation area and replanted native plants, managing to recover some of the original fauna of the place, bringing some native birds that were no longer seen there.
The Grand Hyatt couldn't stop surprising me, after the tour we went to Tano Cucina Italiana, where my Italian blood boiled when we tasted some delicacies, the best pasta paired with a complete wine list, reminiscent of the traditional Italian Tratorias, what's not to like? Not to mention the sweets, which are divine!

But if you're just looking for a more relaxed restaurant, the Grand Hyatt also offers Cantô, a gastro-lounge that will appeal to locals and tourists who want to know what locals like! With its Rio flair and local cuisine, it's a great option for a post-beach drink or a nice evening out with friends, or even a drink for two, in a themed atmosphere with top hats, perfect for a good chat! After all, a carioca who is a carioca loves a place that is tasteful and uncluttered at the same time.

The hotel impressed me so much that on the 28th it opens its doors to its first guests and I'm dying to spend a few days there, aren't you? After all, #ORioVaiFicarioGrand , or rather, it already is!
