Last day in Chile and a troubled departure!

After a few minutes of standing there not knowing what to do, which seemed like an eternity!!! We looked at each other and said NOW WHAT?

Marcondes had a dislocated rib, it was late at night and we were starving!!! We hadn't even had lunch... what now?! The entrance to the hotel had a tank throwing water at all the demonstrators, water that was already making our eyes sting from across the street and a few meters away... We looked at the guards standing nearby and asked, what now? How are we going to get in?

Marcondes couldn't take another step, so Gabriel, Felipe and I decided to find a corner to have dinner and take something for the sick man. He preferred to risk it and try to get in, since he was really screwed... he wouldn't get any worse! He really needed to lie down and rest!
We continued across the street, seeing the chaos waiting for us on the other side of the avenue... people running, rocks flying... a beauty... Dogs running around with strong jets of water on them... and they didn't stop running after the tanks... it really was a unique experience!
Almost everything on the street was closed, people had joined the demonstration and closed their businesses to go to the streets! Despite all the chaos, I was taught a lesson and was proud at the same time, I saw that when people want to, they fight for their ideas and still manage to touch many people's wounds, that if we want things to change, they can!
Well, after walking around a bit, we saw a snack bar open and ran in! There were everything from hot dogs to elaborate dishes! Very good! And our hunger only grew! HUmmm delicious!!! We ordered the steak with egg on top and fries and while it was being prepared we had a hot dog to fill our stomachs.

Well, I always order the whole thing, but this time I couldn't! Their hot dogs come with guacamole!!! I didn't even think it would go together, hot dogs with avocado!!! And I love avocado, and I'm not a foodie at all, but I passed on this one lol I ate it with everything but guacamole hihihi!
Everything ready? Things ready? Yes, yes, we're going to the hotel, hoping that the manifesto has moved on and left our door in peace!
Prayers answered... now there was just one thing left... HOTEL, had it been paid for?!?! While the boys went upstairs to get ready for the picnic, I went to reception to see if they had sorted it out... AS THEY HAD PROMISED!!!!

We chatted for a while to distract ourselves, I tried not to stress too much, but STAR TRAVEL really wouldn't let me do that from the moment I arrived in ARGENTINA, about 5 days ago... that is THE BEGINNING OF THE TRIP and since then their services have only gotten worse... at least there in Argentina I had a city tour and transportation and hotel, IN CHILE I had NOTHING!!!!!! And I was in danger of getting stuck there with no money to pay for the hotel!
We all went to my room, by this time Marcondes was already in his 50th sleep, and the girls stayed there with me looking at the photos and passing everything from one pc to the other 😉 sharing the photos, shortly after Felipe and Gabriel arrived =)
I went to bed because I had to be up at 4am.
I got up, thinking about the card and the mess it would cause... I got changed, finished tidying up and went downstairs...

We arrived two hours before boarding, walked around the airport a bit, took the last few photos and I tried to buy a one-dollar Kit Kat on my card, just to see if I still had a balance... GUESS WHAT? NOT ANOTHER DOLLAR WENT THROUGH!!!! It was a noose, God helped us A LOT and then we boarded the plane... we did some more photography on the way back, the mountain ranges are BEAUTIFUL!!! We played games on our cell phones... and even though we were extremely tired, our anxiety wouldn't let us sleep!!!!

His mother was already waiting for us... and the best part... BRAZILIAN FOOD AT HOME AND WATER!!! WHICH QUENCHES THIRST! We drank the water and we were still thirsty!!! We each drank about 5 liters of water in one go lol.
