Rio de Janeiro's newest cinema - Kinoplex Rio Sul

Today is Saturday, a day for popcorn and guarana and lots of cool movies. Have you watched any movies that remind you of trips or inspire you?
I once read the book Eat, Pray, Love, which soon after became a movie, it portrayed my life well at that time, I swallowed the book and watched the movie many times, I just imagined myself dropping everything and going out there, finding myself again and starting from scratch, that's exactly what I did and that's exactly how my blog started, as I tell you in this first post here, lol
In fact, art is a reflection of reality, it inspires, cheers us up and generates feelings we didn't even remember we had, it moves us a lot! That's why, on some trips, I've ended up visiting a few cinemas around the world, movies I couldn't miss, imagine if by the time I got back they'd gone out of print? No, not if it's a long trip and there's time, why not! In Brazil, Premium cinemas are still a reality in only a few capitals, such as São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. What's more, when you're traveling internationally, getting to know the culture of the place through its cinema can be a very interesting experience, can you imagine going to a cinema in Greece, how crazy and fun...hehe

I also confess that now I'm starting to think of the cinema as a card up my sleeve, imagine me traveling with the little one, that horrible weather, plus I don't know how many days of vacation and I have to entertain him? I think a movie would be good, huh? Tell us moms, have you ever used the movies as an ally?
Here in Rio I think I've been to all the theaters, Igor and I love a movie, popcorn, soda and everything that goes with it! Yesterday we were invited to see the newest movie theater at Shopping Rio Sul, yesmm the south zone has gained another VERY good option for a dark movie!
Scheduled to open next Thursday, March 14, the cinema has undergone a complete makeover and even changed its location, and for those who were used to the old pillar in the middle of the room, you'll be surprised! The quality has increased stratospherically, and it's hard for any cinema in Rio to compete with it these days. It really is the best cinema I've ever seen, with the latest sound and image technology!
No wonder, right? The Kinoplex chain invested heavily and transformed the place into its first fully PREMIUM cinema, with 6 digital screens, two of which are KinoEvolution and 4 Platinum, but what does that mean?
Well, I went to have a taste of this KinoEvolution and I can tell you that they've blown me away, great for 3D lovers. Image and sound quality are paramount and this movie theater is giving a lesson in this regard, it even looks like a simulator from the Orlando parks...lol There are 110 m² floor-to-ceiling screens, equipped with a full HD 3D image and a 7.1 triamplified sound system, an experience that really surprised me! And we didn't even watch anything 3D and yet I was immersed in the screen! I can't wait to go back and see a 3D session!

After this preview, we went straight to the Platinum lounge, which is full of luxury, with individual seats, distributed in a way that allows the couple to interact with the movable armband, as well as electronic controls to recline the well-padded seats, worthy of the best business class! Perfect for watching a movie with your partner! I really liked the picture and sound quality too!

The movie we watched was Invasion of London, a critique of the vulnerability of anti-terrorist protection systems. With stab wounds to the eye and heads breaking through armored glass, the film holds your attention with guaranteed tension.
The only thing worth noting was also noticed by Camila from And then vacation! It's just that there are changing rooms in the restrooms, so moms with their little ones end up being a little short of options if they're with the little ones and during the movie that emergency happens, lol.
Well, as a mother we have to think about everything now, don't we?

Ohhh I almost forgot, the service in the Platinum room is so chic that it has a different menu, with goumert popcorn, I tried the salty one with garlic flavored olive oil, Igor chose the chili one, both delicious! The pepper doesn't have a strong taste and neither of them have an artificial flavor, unlike some I've tasted around here. There are also cheese rolls with special sauces, hot dogs, beers, wines and many other special items!

Are you going to say it doesn't look like a movie from another world? I'm not used to it.
