Pizzeria Porto dos Piratas is a show in Portugal

We enter a magical world with more than 40 pizzas!

Have you ever thought about eating all the pizza you want and then having pirates descend on your head out of nowhere? That's what the themed dinner at Pizzaria Porto dos Piratas in Famalicão is like!

As soon as I heard there was a rodízio pizzeria, with a show and everything else a child could want, I rushed to Famalicão! The best thing is that there are endless fries. However, there was one thing I didn't know off the top of my head:

- Catupiry pizza! It's been a long time since I've eaten that in Portugal!

And then there's the bonus: there are pirate shows themed around the time of year! Yes, the shows are reinvented all the time, which makes every visit to the pizzeria unique!

Pizzeria Porto dos Piratas' atmosphere

As soon as you enter Pizzeria Porto dos Piratas, you're transported to an imaginary world, with a statue of a pirate welcoming you and a REAL boat on the ceiling! Look at the details, there's even a shark eating the pizzas.

On the second floor there is a mini kids' area, where our little one spent most of his time, but it's on the second floor that the magic happens!

Choose to sit at the tables near the cloths hanging from the ceiling, as the pirates will surprise you by descending almost on top of your head during the performance

Brazilian Rodizio in Portugal

One thing's for sure, you'll have your fill of pizza flavors, there are over 40 of them! There's pizza for all tastes, even for people who like things VERY spicy.

Igor wanted to try the pepperoni pizza and came out with his mouth on fire! And he loves pepperoni, but he couldn't face it, laughs. Can you?

The Porto dos Piratas pizzeria is truly Brazilian in style, with a wide choice of pizzas. Imagine something different you can find there.

There's chicken heart pizza, with straw potatoes, with ice cream, or the much-loved chicken pizza with catupiry! But don't worry, there are lots more delicious things, and of course the traditional ones too.

Would you like a "Portuguese" pizza? Well, we're in Portugal and it's not called that here, and I didn't even find a Portuguese pizza here, laughs, but at the Porto dos Piratas pizzeria you can find one called "Terra a Vista".

Another cool thing is that the pizzas are named after pirates or something that refers to this world. Let's have a Jack Sparrow! Or Blackbeard, laughs.

Pizzeria Porto dos Piratas and its show!

Keep an eye on the ceiling, as soon as the music or lighting changes, you can be sure that pirates are in the air! They are acrobats who sing and enchant children and adults alike, and we literally dropped our jaws watching the whole show.

I thought it was a great experience, Emmanuel was glazed over at all times, his eyes glued to all the stunts.

When I say that the pizzeria is a show, I mean it in the literal sense of the word.

It was simply sensational, and at the end we were invited to end the night at a big party, and we discovered that pirates aren't actually bad.
