We fell in love with Croatia as soon as we set foot in the first timeBut it was winter and the scenery was totally different from what we had imagined! So we promised ourselves we'd come back in the summer, and didn't we get off on the right foot? We didn't just do a little bit like the first time! We decided to explore the country from north to south and lovingly record for you all the surprises we encountered in our fourth season of Cris Pelo Mundo A Dive into the Secrets of Croatia!

Season 4 of Cris around the World: a dive into the secrets of Croatia - General synopsis:

This time the Cris Pelo Mundo family will dive into the secrets of Croatia! Cris Stilben presents the Croatian summer, in partnership with Marilia de Oliveira and guests. Get ready to get to know Croatia in a fun and inclusive way, through stories rich in history, culture and tradition. Be amazed by the crystal clear Adriatic Sea, marvel at the colors, flavors and sensations of one of the hottest countries during the European summer. Of course, the whole family will have fun on this adventure, because family travel is possible and a lot of fun! 

Season 4 Cris pelo Mundo - Episode synopsis:

Episode 01 - The Secrets of Zagreb:  Cris Stilben reveals the secrets of Croatia's capital. Discover a hotel that has been oozing refinement since the creation of the Orient Express, delight in the local cuisine, see the best of Zagreb and be surprised by an electrifying experience in a museum full of interactivity.

Episode 02 - The Secrets of Rovinj:  Cris Stilben presents the secrets and Italian influence in regions of Croatia. Marvel at Istria, Croatia's largest peninsula. It's known as "Little Italy"! On this part of the trip we'll be staying in RovinjThis is a charming town, full of alleys where you can get lost, enchanted and delighted by the Adriatic. Igor presents a fantastic gastronomic experience and Cris presents one of Croatia's most romantic destinations.

Episode 03 - The Secrets of Brijuni: Still in Istria, the Cris Pelo Mundo family presents the wonderful archipelago of Brijuni. It's a crystal blue Adriatic paradise that combines beaches and fun with a lot of culture and tradition. Reminisce about the time of Roman rule and get lost among the ruins. For the kids, there's a zoo and even a dinosaur! 

Episode 04 - The Secrets of Pula: Speaking of the Roman presence in Croatia, discover Pula! Cris Stilben presents the JumpHe will also visit the Temple of Augustus, discover the secrets of tunnels that were built before the First World War by the Austro-Hungarian monarchy, reach the top of the hill in the middle of the city tour and be enchanted by a wonderful view from the top of the Pula Kastel. Little Emmanuel, on the other hand, is enjoying himself in a hotel designed entirely for families traveling with small children! 

Episode 05 - The Secrets of Premantura: Still in Istria, the Cris Pelo Mundo family visited another Croatian nature park. This time they delve into the secrets of Premantura! Crystal blue sea, paradisiacal caves, themed restaurant, unusual playground and lots of family adventure!

Episode 06 - The Secrets of Buzet: On their farewell to Istria, the Cris Pelo Mundo family learns the secrets of Croatian flavors. The fun begins with a hunt for black truffles in the middle of the forest with their sniffer friends. Then it's time to enjoy the best recipes with the local delicacy. Igor gets excited at the distillery and the whole family has fun! 

Episode 07 - The Secrets of Karlovac: Cris Stilben presents the secrets of Karlovac in the company of a very special guest, "Nikola Tesla". It was in Karlovac that Nikola Tesla studied and where he found inspiration for his discoveries. In addition, the Cris Pelo Mundo family will have fun in the town's aquarium, take a dip in the river and even have dinner in the superbly preserved 13th century castle! 

Episode 08 - The Secrets of Plitvice: After seeing Croatia's lakes in winter, it's time to see them in summer! Cris Stilben presents the best option for those who want to visit the Plitvice National Park in an objective way. You too can marvel at this paradise on earth and see in this fourth season of Cris pelo Mundo how different the scenery is from the first.

Episode 09 - The Secrets of Split: Some say Split is Croatia's most charming city. In this episode, Cris Stilben presents the grandiose Diocletian's Palace and delves into the secrets of Split. It's not for nothing that it was the inspiration for one of the sets in the famous "Game Of Thrones" series. But Split is much more than that, it holds surprises around every corner.
And I'm sure the fourth season of Cris pelo Mundo still has plenty of surprises in store for us along the way.

Episode 10 - The Secrets of Hvar: The most beautiful of the 1,244 Croatian islands and the best known is the island of Hvar. Hvar is also famous for being considered the sunniest Croatian island, as well as the sunniest place in Europe! The island is one of the most popular vacation destinations for tourists from all over the world. In addition, it is also a UNESCO heritage site and of course it wouldn't be left out of the fourth season of Cris Around the World! Hvar is one of the best examples of how a city full of cultural and historical attractions can also appeal to visitors of all styles and ages.

Episode 11 - The Secrets of Dubrovnik-Neretva: After Hvar it's time to head to the south of Croatia. Along the way we pass the Klis fortress, which was used as the setting for the city of Meereen in the Game of Thrones series. Then we passed through the wonderful Neretva Valley! This region is famous for its wine production. Cris Stilben, together with guide Marilia de Oliveira, presents the town of Mali Ston. This is where the second largest wall in the world is located, the largest in Europe! It was a strategic stop to taste the oysters and stretch our legs on the way to the town of Dubrovnik.

Episode 12 - The Secrets of Dubrovnik: Dubrovnik is undoubtedly one of the most charming cities in Croatia. Its walls with their medieval atmosphere attract so much attention that it was chosen for some of the episodes of the "Game of Thrones" series. But Dubrovnik has also inspired many other literary works. The Cris Pelo Mundo family tried the famous stuffed rooster, a recipe by the renowned Renaissance writer Marin Držić, affectionately called the Shakespeare of Dubrovnik. It's a city that enchants visitors. Dive into the secrets of Dubrovnik in the fourth season of Cris pelo Mundo!

Episode 13 - The Secrets of Zadar: After visiting many charming cities, it's time to say goodbye to Croatia. But don't worry, along the way the Cris Pelo Mundo family will find many surprises. First stop Trogir, a small islet. The historic center of Trogir has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its Venetian architecture. The final stop is the Zadarin the village of Nin. Marvel at one of the most striking landscapes of the entire season! In this episode, you'll find Roman ruins, salt pans, medicinal mud, paradise beaches, lots of history and family fun! And to round off the season, an exciting challenge to discover the secrets of Zadar under one of the best sunsets in the world!
