Great location and structure
When we travel with children, what we worry most about is a good structure, safety and comfort, right? So the question is, what is the best option for accommodation with children in Paris? It's worth remembering that the euro is at an all-time high?
We had the pleasure of visiting 123 Sebastopol, part of the Astotel chain, which, as well as being a magical movie world, is perfect for feeling at home in any city. I'll explain why in a moment.
A fun, themed hotel to stay with children in Paris
I fell in love with it! The hotel is all themed, in fact: light, camera and action!
Those of us who love the world of cinema feel right at home.

And for the little ones' world of imagination, it's simply perfect, with plenty of fun to be had when it comes to staying with children in Paris. Seriously, as soon as we entered the hotel, we found three beautiful little cars that are part of the hotel's decor, but the children couldn't resist and always wanted to get in and play. Emmanuel loved it and sat down to drive a few times, under the encouragement of the hotel reception staff.

The breakfast tables and chairs and the hotel's furniture are also noteworthy! The tables are supported by camera tripods and the chairs refer to those used by famous French directors.
The decoration of the rooms is equally impeccable, but I'll get to that in a moment.
Afternoon tea
What do you mean, Cris? The Astotel chain has 16 hotels throughout Paris and if you're staying in one of them, you're free to enjoy afternoon tea in any of them.

In other words, it's a safe haven for an afternoon break, as well as being a clean rest stop for the whole family. By the way, toilets are a tricky thing in Paris, and when you do find one, it's hard not to be charged for it.

I loved this option, we had a coffee, a snack and were ready to get back to our wanderings around Paris.
I thought this was the highlight of our choice of accommodation with children in Paris. It really made me feel safe and welcome.
Bedrooms
You can be surprised on every floor, because each floor is themed and decorated in a different way. I didn't get to visit all the floors, but I heard that big names from French cinema were invited to inspire the hotel's facilities. Each with its own particularities.

Our floor, for example, was inspired by the renowned Oscar-winning director Claude Lelouch.
I loved our room, completely spacious and fun. Our bed was huge and the detail of the headboard impressed us, movie reels, harmoniously fitted together, it was beautiful!

The lamps are the "Dolby Digital" symbols, and there's even a traffic light, while the cushions are camera lenses. I love it! There are so many charming details, don't miss them.

Of course, those of you who follow me know that I love having chairs and a table in my room. It makes me very happy and makes our work so much easier.
Bathroom
The bathroom is very spacious and beautiful, with extremely fragrant L'Occitane amenities.
My skin felt like silk with the soaps and my hair felt great - that's hard to find, you know! I love it, and it couldn't go better with Paris.

The sink is large and the hairdryer is super powerful, I loved it and I leave with impeccable hair every day. The shower is strong and relaxing, and the bathtub is the biggest of any we've experienced in Paris.

Needless to say, we took a few minutes to enjoy the tub, especially after a day full of walking around Disney. A delight!
Emmanuel also enjoyed his "pool" and played a lot with his dad.
Pampering
We were greeted with chocolates and a letter in our room, I love arriving with such a surprise, it's priceless. In addition, the minibar has complimentary soft drinks, water and juice for guests. There's also a daily refill and no additional fees! =)
Anyone who travels with children knows that this really makes a difference. This added a thousand points to our choice of accommodation with children in Paris.

It's very nice when you feel very welcome in places like this.
One thing I find essential in rooms these days is a coffee machine.
Drinking coffee or tea at any time of the day is great! I love coffee throughout the day or tea before bed.
Breakfast
I've already mentioned that the setting is extremely beautiful and everything has been carefully thought out. Don't miss the miniatures near the elevator, it's a complete movie set.
As well as directors' chairs, you can also find old movie seats. I found it simply sensational!

The breakfast buffet was a real lunch, with a thousand options.
Well, when I travel with the little one, I'm very careful with this meal! That way I don't worry so much about having an early lunch.
I think you should look at breakfast options when it comes to staying with children in Paris.
The little one enjoyed the scrambled eggs, hot chocolate and lots of cookies.

I loved the smoked salmon and Igor the spiced chicken!
In reality, we went out every day practically eating lunch, only having a snack at lunchtime.

Another interesting treat is the 100%'s attention to guests: every day the hotel manager introduces himself and goes from table to table to ask if everything is on schedule. He also makes a point of asking about the family's schedule so that he can offer guests useful tips. Nice, right?
Cinema room
Yes, you read that right! As if it couldn't get any better, there's a movie theater inside the hotel!!! With a wide choice of movies for all guests.
A real movie theater, with a big screen, armchairs and everything you could wish for. I thought it was great, but unfortunately our rushed visit meant we didn't get to see this lovely part of the hotel.

What's more, when we tried to use it, there was an event on, so next time =(
Ahhh another nice thing is that it's hard not to feel like a real star when you enter the hotel. We literally walked on red carpets all over the place.
Location and surroundings
The hotel is superbly located close to the Sebastopol and Strasbourg - Saint Denis metro stations. It's also close to the Louvre and the Paris Opera, perfect! It's also close to restaurants and markets, which is very important.
What we thought of our accommodation with children in Paris
I loved every detail and the little one had so much fun with everything!
He jumped on the bed and found the room very amusing with all the details, even after a whole day at Disney he still found the energy to jump on the bed and get too excited about the room.

The large bathtub allowed Dad and Emmanuel to bathe together and there was a lot of play in each bath. He also ate very well at breakfast and afternoon tea, which is a difficult task!

We were extremely well received and were even able to use the luggage storage on the day we left. As we weren't leaving until the evening, we took the opportunity to walk around the city and our things were safe.
I really enjoyed being able to use any hotel in the Astotel chain for afternoon tea and it made me feel safer. It's always good to have a support point when you're with a toddler.

Cris pelo Mundo was hosted with the support of the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, but this post is true to my impressions.
