Last day in Munich and lots to see.

Leaving Neuschwanstein Castle and seeing the rest of Munich.

Everything was going to be a rush, I only had a few hours to leave the Castle of Neuschwanstein and get to the BMW store in the center of Munich and drop off the car, with no extra charges! Without traffic and with everything helping, this journey would take around an hour and forty minutes! And I only had two hours to spare! In other words, everything really had to help.

The traffic was good, and I was excited because the time was right! I was very happy that there would be time, but of course nothing would be very easy, whenever we have to go fast the world conspires and the traffic comes to help, my hands started to sweat and my legs got restless, it wouldn't just be an extra hour that I would pay for, I would lose the discount of 2 hours, that is, it would be another THREE hours on the bill, 60 euros of nonsense! Help me, go car, go, go!

As we got closer to the BMW, the traffic became even heavier, and at that moment I was even more certain that the clock had started ticking faster, it wasn't possible for the minutes to have been ticking normally! They were practically doubling every second.

Well, I finally arrived and a few minutes late, I was already accepting the fact that I'd lost a few euros! I handed over the car and in a magical way I began to understand German (maybe my blood didn't speak at that moment?), Igor parked the car and the girl who took it talked to me as if we were friends! Wow, she drives well, parked first time, very good, and even added that those extra minutes wouldn't be charged and we were getting the 5 hours for only 3 promotion! I still don't know how I understood German, I just answered with my head and an extreme smile on my face! And that was the most stressful and different return I could have had from a wonderful tour!

The weight had lifted from my back and given way to an incredible surprise, how did I understand German? Igor couldn't explain it either, he just kept asking how! Magical things that happen on trips, that's how!

I was very hungry and hadn't put anything very satisfying in my stomach yet! Next to the BMW store was the Olympiapark with the wonderful Tollwood rolling! Of course that's where I was going to eat, stalls from all over the world and all kinds of food were waiting for me! My stomach was already applauding my decision, and was even kind enough to forget about my hunger as I crossed the catwalk to the event.

I went straight to the German stall and ordered sauerkraut, which is a typical food made with preserved and fermented cabbage. Whenever I travel, I try to try as many local foods as possible, I get a taste of each city, I see the cultural gastronomic form, I love it! And the food in Germany really made my mouth water, I loved everything I tasted there! Sausages, sausages and lots of things! Even the beer, which I'm not a big fan of, I liked!
Fed and much calmer, I still wanted to pass the Allianz Arena! It was getting late, I mean dark, it had been late for a long time! It's a good thing that in summer everything gets dark much later! I ran to try and catch the Allianz with a few rays of sunshine left! I'd already given up the idea of trying to get into the stadium, it was well past 6pm and it would certainly be closed, especially with no game on that day.
I took the subway, which was very close, jumped off and took some pictures, the place was deserted, and I had been warned that it wasn't very safe there! I rushed off with the photos and went back to the subway, exhaustion was beginning to take hold of me, I had done a lot in a short time and I hadn't slept a wink the night before, at least everything I wanted to do, I did!

It was my last night in that wonderful city, I couldn't just go back to the hotel and sleep, I had to enjoy it until the last second! And so it was, I hopped off at Marienplatz, which I understand is the city center where everything happens! Lots of cool bars full of people chatting and drinking a lot! I chose a bar without too much discretion and went in, sat down, ordered a drink, like a crazy alcoholic punch, a wheat beer (the ones I like best) and stood there for a few moments remembering everything that had happened in the last 48 hours!

Munich Beer

I slept on the street, met some really fun people, fell into a really cool event that I didn't even know existed! I discovered one of the most beautiful places in the world next to Disney's royal castle, I visited the swimming pool where one of my greatest idols swam, I was impressed by a different kind of society, things work out there.

It's Germany, at least Munich had given me a very different view of things than anything I'd ever seen before, I was feeling very good, it was just a few hours that made a big difference to me, imagine if I'd given up and left? I would never have forgiven myself for missing out on such great things. Thankfully, I'm too stubborn and curious to put everything aside because I simply don't have anywhere to sleep.

I finished my drink and walked around the bar a bit more, taking lots of photos! Even at Church where the devil has trodden and I went back to the hotel, a little sad I confess! I didn't want to leave, the city made me fall in love, I only had one night and a few hours left and then ROME...

Well, I took the subway, and almost with an anticipatory nostalgia I went on looking, feeling and wanting to keep it all to myself.
