A dream in the shape of a house
Our trip was over a month long and all we wanted was a good place to rest and enjoy a new country in the best way possible. That's when we found accommodation in Krakow to be the best option.
A whole house for us, on two floors, with all the support we could possibly need! A kitchen, in case we wanted something simpler, or the room service that only a 5-star hotel can offer.
Do you know when you combine the useful with the pleasant? Well, that's what happened at Best Views Krakow. And when they say it's the best view in Krakow, they're not kidding.
It also has all the facilities of a luxury home with the premium service of a 5-star hotel, everything so perfect that we didn't want to leave.
That's right, that's what you read, and if you follow me you know that I can't sit still anywhere, but we chose our accommodation in Krakow so well that I didn't even want to leave!
We were a little tired from our journey, which was almost a month old at the time. Poland was our ninth country on this adventure, between planes, trains, cars and motorhomes. All we wanted was something like this, a beautiful view, comfort and rest, but I'll tell you something...
Our accommodation in Krakow surprised us!
I already knew it was going to be something surreal, we had hand-picked our accommodation in Krakow, but even so, when we arrived.... We were even more surprised! How could it be so beautiful? The room was all glass and we could see the sunrise without even getting out of bed. We just pressed a button and the curtains went up, showing the whole show in the sky.
So incredible that when we got downstairs we had another surprise: our breakfast banquet arrived! How could you not love all this Aparthotel pampering? Right after breakfast, we went to the jacuzzi, which, despite the snow, was warm and delicious for enjoying the view. All set up.
It was impossible to leave and before we knew it, it was time for lunch, which once again arrived impeccably in our room, or rather in our penthouse! Another feast, with a delicious meal, typical dishes and more desire to stay and enjoy it all. But we had lunch and finally went out to see the city.
Our next few days were at a very slow and invigorating pace, we loved every moment in our accommodation in Krakow, a much-needed break right in the middle of our journey.
Best Views Krakow Aparthotel
It is a hotel situated in a residence with a privileged location, very close to the Royal Castle of Wawel, the Market Square and the main avenues.
We stayed in the Luxury Panoramic Penthouse, with its 140 square meters on two floors and capacity for up to 10 people.
It is one of the only developments in Krakow that has a "jacuzzi" on the balcony overlooking the city, and the feeling in the late afternoon is simply unforgettable.
Bedrooms
All rooms include air conditioning, free Wi-Fi and a television. In some of the units it is also possible to have an iPod dock and CD player, and a kitchen equipped with a dishwasher and microwave, a fridge is also provided, as well as a kettle. There is a private bathroom with a bath or shower and free toiletries in all units.
Penthouse
I felt like I was in a movie, as soon as we walked in we were greeted with chocolates and champagne on the table in the living room, with luxurious decor and an incredible space!
Next door was the dining room, which was fit for kings and queens, with plenty of seating! Then we saw a jacuzzi on the balcony that you'd never want to leave, but the best part was upstairs.
Three rooms awaited us, we stayed in the room that was all glass, with a surreal view. I felt like I was sleeping on top of Krakow! The glass ceiling was all painted, with art that relaxes you and lets your imagination flow. I had nothing but gratitude for this wonderful place.
Emmanuel slept in the unglazed room, but it was so cozy that just walking in made him want to jump on the bed.
All the rooms were equipped with television and air conditioning, as well as bed linen that hugged you when you lay down and a pillow that looked like a cloud.
Bathrooms
Two bathrooms are available in the penthouse, one on the second floor with a bathtub, toilet and shower, and the other upstairs with a toilet and shower.
The two bathrooms are spacious, with everything you need for a good shower, from bath foam to moisturizers and shampoos. Of course, hairdryers are also present, as well as towels and bathrobes.
Restaurant at our accommodation in Krakow
The meals we enjoyed in our penthouse can also be enjoyed in the Best Views Krakow restaurant, which is an attraction in its own right.
We left our dinners to be enjoyed there, among paintings and beautiful decoration. Don't miss the stone wall in the background with its beautiful statues.
We left some breakfasts for the restaurant as well, with different options from those served in the room. For example, the delicious waffle!!! I repeated it a thousand times.
Another highlight of the restaurant is the chef, who came to talk to us with an infectious smile. That's when I discovered the secret of the food: JOY! When we do what we love, everything is better, isn't it?
When I said goodbye on our last night, I received a beautiful tulip from the chef with a smile that said it all. Even though my English was raw and I didn't understand Polish at all, we understood each other very well! I thanked him for all the moments and with a simple glance I understood how happy he was to be doing what he loves.
The joy of everyone at Best View was something I've hardly encountered anywhere in the world, and at that moment I wanted to stay there for the rest of the trip.
Tip:
Don't forget to take a look at the paintings, maybe you'll find something familiar to Brazil in these landscapes, laughs.
Each day I tried a different dish, moving between international and traditional cuisine.
Tip²:
Try the salmon, but don't miss the Polish dumplings, I loved them!!! Or start with the barszcz soup, or as we know it, beet soup, laughs.

What we found in our hotel in Krakow
It's impossible to say anything other than SURREAl, we've never been treated so well in our lives and I'd venture to say that we've never felt so good either.
This had never happened to me before, a hotel that stood out in our experiences, so much so that we didn't even want to go out.
Every meal, a different treat! We were VERY happy with all the pampering we were given at every moment, Best View Krakrow spared no effort in making us feel very good during the days we were there.
Details that make a difference
In Brazil there is a saying: "The eyes of the owners fatten the cattle"
And without a doubt, the presence of the owners at Best View Krakow makes a difference in every detail. From the carpets changed daily in the elevator, where each day the corresponding day of the week is written, to the smallest details to make you feel at ease.
We were greeted with Ferrero Rocher chocolates and champagne as we entered the penthouse, but the surprises didn't stop there! There was still a box of Milka and lots of local treats on our last day.
We also got a Krakow book, traditional and local chocolates, along with pencils, pens and things for the little one to draw with.
Of course there were dragon-shaped candies, the symbol of Krakow!
Emmanuel was so happy that he only knew how to say thank you, and his first words of English were emerging timidly there. His smiling eyes said much more than words, and the day to leave arrived with regret.
Enchanted
How can you not fall in love? When we are VERY well received the experience transcends the traditional and becomes something surreal. Without a doubt, it was the best service we've ever had IN OUR WHOLE LIFE!!! Every detail, every pampering, every smile, every moment made our stay in Krakow something out of this world in our lives.
We already knew that traveling changes us, but we've noticed that certain moments can change us even more and we've learned how an establishment can be such a positive thing in our lives that we always want to be better.
I can't thank you enough for all the care you put into our stay. There is no way of describing this experience and I have only one thing to say: this hotel has marked much more than our history, it has marked our soul.
And the vacations are here!
