A transformative experience
When friends asked me to visit this freshwater paradise right in the middle of the Amazon, I didn't think twice about it. It would be my first time in the northern region and I was excited right away, being in the middle of the Amazon. I already knew that trips are unique experiences, but without a doubt it was going to be a very incredible experience, for me it was going to be much more than that, this place represents our culture, our origins, it represented my healing, being in total connection with nature was a gift that God sent me at that moment, being open to the opportunities that life offers us can bring us incredible things.

For those who don't understand anything when I mention "healing", I'll explain it quickly so that we can get down to business.
Travel is a unique and completely wonderful experience!
First of all, I really believe nowadays that travel is a unique experience with a great power to transform us. Previously, I believed that travel was just about getting to know new cultures and living different physical experiences, but in recent years I've come to realize that it goes beyond that.
Traveling has a lot to do with surrender, letting go and overcoming some of our fears.

As a result, I realized that I wasn't just getting to know new cultures, with each trip I have the opportunity to get to know myself better. Things I need to heal in myself and things I've been learning to value more through letting go. Simple places like Alter made me think a lot about how we can live so happily with less.
Every trip is a new learning experience.
So, with each trip I learn about surrendering expectations, surrender is love, it's the certainty that it will be exactly the way it needs to be. It may seem silly, but with this delivery we learn to take them into our daily lives. Expectations will always lead to frustration and when we deliver, we can have good surprises because we weren't expecting anything.
Getting to know new cultures teaches me to respect differences and therefore to respect myself more, especially my limits.
Traveling inspires me and in this way shows me more and more how challenges are fundamental experiences for our learning. They bring valuable lessons.
It's impossible to come back the same from a trip.
After all, every different place I visit gives me the chance to get to know a new part of myself.
That's why, first of all, I invite you to make every trip you take not just an external one, but an internal one too.
Big kiss Karol Teles
