Going to Chile! And saying goodbye to Buenos Aires!

Delicious!

Leaving Buenos Aires looking forward to better days! Ahhhh I didn't want it to go on like this!
I was eating some croissants I'd picked up for breakfast... I ended up thinking how crazy it had been that the hotel was being robbed, that the company I'd bought the package from was giving me a headache instead of comfort!!! Not to mention the embarrassment of arriving at the hotel and hearing that the reservation had been canceled due to non-payment... even though I had already paid everything to the damn company, Star Travel Service !!!
How could I? I've never bought a package... I've always preferred to do things on my own... which is theoretically more work!!! Then I buy the package with Star Travel Service, and all I get is a headache!!!
Well, my head was bubbling all the way to the airport, but we finally arrived! I checked my bags and we went straight to the departure lounge! There was still almost an hour to go before the plane took off, so we went to kill time in the Free Shop =D
Seeing the trinkets... and lucky for us ... ADVICE!!! They were giving away toblerone and black label! I confess that I'm not a fan of whisky at all, but... everything was already in the crapper... my head was already spinning!!! I had to try it 😉 and to my pleasant surprise... I LIKED the black =D it may have been the circumstances... but I liked it 😉 so we ate chocolate and drank whisky, ahhh not to mention that with all the confusion... we hadn't even had lunch! It fit like a glove... I think it even enhanced the deliciousness 😉
Gabriel kept talking to the guy who was pouring the whisky and getting bigger and bigger shots. During the conversation he commented that we were going to Chile... that we were Brazilian and things like that... and I was very surprised! The Argentinian said that there were beautiful women in Brazil and pointed at me... jokingly... and then concluded... CHILE? I HATE THAT RACE! How can you? They're so similar... and they hate each other so much... I mean physically similar... and at that moment I realized that Chile's rivalry with Argentina is much more than with Brazil, a lot of nonsense!
After a few good drinks... hauhauhauha we went to the plane... but we quickly got off in Uruguay... where theoretically we wouldn't even get off the plane... but after waiting inside for a couple of hours... we were forced to get off with the following statement...
The plane's panel is faulty, we're going to disembark and wait for another aircraft =p we got off... a bit pissed off... but what can you do?
Then in less than 20 minutes we were boarding again!!! ON THE SAME AIRCRAFT.
I didn't quite understand and asked if they had fixed it! The flight attendant replied "I THINK SO, it's just that they don't have another aircraft to put you on and the next flight isn't until 1pm the following day".
I DIDN'T BELIEVE IT, I boarded with a certain amount of fear... and in all this confusion we discovered that half the flight was traveling with Star Travel Service and that they had had the same problems as me!
Well, as I was tense and it was getting late with all the confusion, I ended up sleeping almost the whole flight! And when we arrived in Chile, at TWO in the morning... the supreme surprise was given!
We looked for a transfer, but where was it? Everyone who had gone with Star Travel Service was left in the lurch! The airport staff told us that the beautiful company hadn't PAID for the service and so we weren't entitled to the damn transfer... and we had to go to the hotel on our own....
Great, in an unknown country, at dawn and without the service I paid for! Very happy hauhauha
We took a taxi and went to the address on the hotel voucher they had sent us by e-mail.
We got the receipt from the taxi driver and when we got to the hotel... Uhulll reservation canceled! For non-payment... in the early hours of the morning... and the receptionist said... you've seen the daily rate, right? if the company doesn't pay, it's up to you...
What was I going to do at two in the morning???? I just agreed and went up to the room, talked to some people I'd met in Argentina, who were coincidentally in the same hotel as me... and then I fell asleep, I really did, because I was exhausted!!! The day had been VERY confusing and I couldn't take it anymore... I really wanted solutions and better days!!!
