Bistrô Santa Satisfação - Where to eat in Rio

Santa Quarta

Bistrô Santa Satisfação is in the Leblon neighborhood, here in Rio de Janeiro.
A very carioca atmosphere surrounds it, with chairs full of cushions and rustic-style tables.
The decoration gives the house that extra touch, with beautiful sayings and everything thought out with such care for every corner you look at, that it makes you feel embraced by the place.

The Bistro is just the right size and is full of people who enjoy an incredible palate.
It was our second Santa Quarta and it's the second edition too, imagine if we didn't like it there.
But what is Santa Quarta? On certain Wednesdays, Bistrô Santa Satisfação invites guests to take over the kitchen! And the result couldn't be any different, a creative way of having delicious novelties.

First edition of Santa Quarta at Bistrô Santa Satisfação

Hamburger

At the first edition, the place was really PUMPED. The special guest was journalist Rafael Cavalieri, who got his hands dirty and prepared a very tasty hamburger.
Juicy blend of beef and bacon, served with canastra cheese cream, parsley aioli, barbecue and crispy bacon!
Nhaaammm.
To give you an idea, it was so good that it sold out in no time, just think!

Drinks

To make the drinks, gastronomy photographer Tomás Rangel changed roles and went straight to shaking the cocktail shakers at Bistrô Santa Satisfação, creating two recipes.
I loved the Sanguinelli G&T, a gin and tonic made with Amazzoni gin, blood orange, lemongrass and star anise!
Very nice too.

Igor's choice was the Leblon Sour, made with Cachaça Leblon, pomelo, orange and tahiti lime, honey syrup, Aperol and IPA bitter, also very good.

Bistrô Santa Satisfação offers an incredible menu every day of the week, and I've had my eye on the risotto, which I'll definitely be back to try.

Second edition of Santa Quarta at Bistrô Santa Satisfação

We went back to check out the chefs who were invited this time.
I was delighted!

With its elaborate menu, you could choose two options between starters, main courses and dessert.
As I went with Igor, we each ordered one and tried a bit of everything!

Entry

For starters, he had the paris mushroom cream with porcini and I had the warm pumpkin salad with curd cheese.

I love cheese, but I confess I preferred his mushroom cream, with all the delicacy of the hearts and the mild flavor, simply wonderful.

Main course

For the main course, I had chicken caprese with polenta and tomato confit and he had ratatouille cannelloni with tomato and basil sauce.

This time I preferred my option, the polenta was DIVIINAAA, along with tender chicken that melted in your mouth, just remembering it makes me want to go back.

Dessert

For dessert, there was a warm chocolate cake with almond chips and a red fruit mouse. We each had one and I almost wanted to jump on Igor's neck.
One of the best hot chocolate brownies I've ever had, the almond chips were disloyal lol, everything just right! Very fluffy and juicy, nhaammmm!

If it wasn't for such an unfair opponent, the red fruit mouse would also be the perfect end to the meal.
With little pieces that bubbled on our taste buds and showed what they were there for, it was almost a party in my mouth.

I was delighted with the quality of the dishes and how well these guys work! I'm glad to know that we'll soon have renowned chefs with great taste in the area.

Aletilê of ideas.

Chefinhos ?? Galerinha? Heimm? Cris explains it better.
Who thought of and produced all this was the Master Class team from Ateliê das Ideais, a place where the art of cooking is revived and the pleasure of eating is reinvented.

Four people were chosen, aged between 11 and 15, with a lot of skill and a gift for cooking.
To Manuela Oliveira, Julia Balassiano, Camille Chiappero and Brno Lopes, congratulations boys, you did very well!

For all ages.

Children of all ages are invited to learn. My little one will definitely be joining the summer camp next year, at the age of 3! I thought it was a great idea to introduce him to cooking concepts and for him to grow up knowing how to prepare that beautiful dinner.
I was able to taste and approve what the people there have been learning.
Some of them have even taken part in the NG TV program What a Wonder! Presented by Cloude Troisfors and Batista, look at the moral.
I'm already very curious about the third edition of Santa Quarta!

Venue: Bistrô Santa Satisfação Leblon, Av. Ataulfo de Paiva, 1335.
