Neuschwanstein
Munich, what a wonderful city! And what's even better is that I slept in a warm bed, woke up to a lovely shower and a wonderful breakfast, I couldn't believe it! To think that the night before I had spent on the street, for lack of a hotel.
A good tip, guys, is to NEVER travel without a hotel, even if it's at short notice like me, and even then if you have nowhere to sleep, train stations and airports are the best choices, you never know, it might happen again.
I ate a lot, with various cheeses and nutellas to make me even happier, humm what a delight, and I enjoyed everything as much as possible, as on every trip, I didn't know what my next meal would be after breakfast! Not to mention that my anxiety made me even hungrier, I was about to take the car to see the beautiful castle of Neuschwanstein It's so beautiful that it inspired the worthy Walt Disney, that's right, he was the inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's castle, which is a Disney symbol to this day, we could even say that it's Disney's Royal Castle hehehe, every big girl's dream to see such a place.
Neschwanstein Palace was built in the last half of the 19th century in southwestern Bavaria, close to the Austrian border by the King Ludwig II of Bavaria Also known as the Mad King, there are stories that say he howled on full moon nights, and his nickname would have come from that, among other extravagant things, but nothing very proven, the poor King didn't even have time to enjoy the beautiful Palace dying, in a way that no one can explain properly to this day, as soon as it was finished.
Well, I had already read so much about this castle and asked so many questions that I really wanted to see it. OlympiaparkI finally took the car and drove a few kilometers along the autobahn in Germany. There were tours that would take me to Neuschwanstein Castle from the center of Munich, it's really a well-known tour there, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity to drive along the roads of Germany in an authentic BMW, I paid 60 euros for 5 hours (actually it was a package of 20 euros an hour, paying 3, getting 5) and in the end I ended up with another hour free, it was an hour and a half or so to get to the Castle and the same to get back, leaving three hours to enjoy the castles, and around them.
In the Newschwanstein Castle complex there is a village and two castles, the Disney one, which I really wanted to see, and the one where Ludwig had spent most of his life, which belonged to his father Maximillian II but not as big as the new one built by the mad king's megalomaniac dreams.
As I had already imagined, the road to the castle was full of beautiful scenery and great roads. Of course, I spent a little time taking some photos, and when I saw it, I couldn't believe it, I could already see the castle! What a beauty, up there, beautiful and majestic, with several mountains framing it and making the place truly fairytale! I hadn't even arrived there yet! Beautiful little houses, super cute villages were all along the way, and I wanted to go down each one too, but time was running out, and Neuschwanstein Castle occupied my mind more than anything else.
Ahhh finally! I arrived and immediately saw a name that intrigued me, drawn on the wall of one of the stores of souvenir, is that one of my aliases is German Stilben, but he actually changed it when he came to Brazil and I never really knew what the original was, and the name of the girl sounded a lot like him.
Recognition aside, I went to see the ticket office and buy entry to the Castle. Neschwansteins Castle were already full and what was left was too late, it wouldn't be enough for me. Hohenschwangau Castle which was more modest and where the Mad King had actually lived.
I was enchanted by the beauty of the place, and as usual imagining what life must have been like back then! Sleeping and waking up to that view must have been nothing short of wonderful! I spent a few hours giddy about the place and realized that there were also a few hotels nearby, so I could enjoy that stunning nature more calmly. It's certainly a place I'll return to one day, it's in my TOP 10, maybe even in first place, it's really worth going.
Walks, open mouths, ecstasy and time to meet the Hohenschwangau Castle inside! Of course, you can't take pictures of the outside, inside you can't take pictures, the best I could do was take pictures of the views from the windows, which were absurd! There's a lake underneath the castle which is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. The tours are all guided, telling stories about the period and the cool things that make the place different.
Of course, being the crafty girl that I am, I set off on some trails to see what I could find, even in a skirt and shoes that didn't help me much, I ventured out and it was the most enjoyable thing I've ever done, I ended up discovering a wonderful view, more beautiful than the castle itself, in fact the lake had enchanted me too much, it was a breathtaking color and the closer I got the clearer it was.
For a few minutes I forgot about Neschwanstein Castle, and ran towards the lake. Every step closer made it even more beautiful, it was incredible. When I got to touch the water, I felt like throwing myself in and going for a swim, but unfortunately, even though it was summer, the weather was a bit chilly, around 12 degrees, and my clothes weren't suitable for that.

I was content to take off my shoes, step into the water, see the ducklings and run out onto the deck to sit as close as possible and photograph in a way that would make everything come alive in me more than anything. The smile on my face didn't hide my overflowing happiness, the stunning scenery was in complete harmony with the ice cream that hit my feet and refreshed my soul, the place was truly magical.
To top it off, a girl appeared out of nowhere and started chatting to me, can you imagine? She lived there, she was German and in charge of the boats that were rented out, so far so good, but a nice surprise, she had already lived in Brazil and spoke a little bit of Portuguese, which for me was a lot more than a little Portuguese and it was a nice conversation to end one of the best moments of my life, she also explained to me that it was one of the cleanest waters in the world and it wasn't just a fact, it was scientific and tested! As it's very cold, the mountains freeze in winter and in summer the water in the lake is renewed by the thawing of the ice, creating pure, new water.
It was very late, so I started running to get up to Neschwanstein Castle, I was extremely hungry, but so was the queue for the food stalls, so I left the food for later, after all I had gone to see Sleeping Beauty Castle and I couldn't miss it, it was quite a long way to walk and to save time I decided to take the shuttle, like a mini van, even though the queue was a bit long it would be quicker! And so it was, about 10 minutes later I was up there, seeing the village like little ants, but I was wrong to think it would be so easy, I still had to walk a bit, I got lost and fell into a path where you could see the castle from above, and luckily I found out I was on the wrong path in time, because neither my clothes nor the weather allowed me to do it, another thing that was left for later.
I ran a lot, the time was very short, I almost didn't make it to the front of the Castle, it was desperate to get there, my lungs didn't want to take in air, I was so nervous, my feet hurt from running without the right shoes, it was very stressful, but in the end the Castle paid off! There was even a snack bar opposite where I could satisfy my hunger, I couldn't believe it! There was time, I'd eaten, I'd seen everything I wanted to see and in fact the Castle was everything I could have imagined in a fairytale, so beautiful with those tall towers, with an entrance worthy of any princess story, a good feeling, a sense of accomplishment, one of the best feelings in life, but it wasn't over, I had to go down, get the car and go back to Munich and return the car, and that's how it was done, all in a rush, and how can you not have an unforeseen event? They make the trip exciting.
Would I make it to Munich in time? Oh dear

Hahahahah yes yes I love water in every way, but unfortunately I wasn't wearing the right clothes hahaha, Munich is one of the coolest places I've ever been! I want to go back and enjoy the party there =)
Who would have thought that thanks to a Werewolf King, Disney would get its own symbol? hehehe And why didn't he ask for a discount at the souvenir store? You deserved it, right! lol
I'd like to know how to buy tickets to visit Neuschwanstein and what are the opening times and days? I'm going in December (the end) and I know that it doesn't open on January 1st.
Evian!
What's up?
There are several times to visit, but all of them are guided and sometimes it's a bit difficult to get there and buy for the next one =)
Admission costs 12 euros
You can find more detailed information at http://www.neuschwanstein.de/spanisch/visitante/horarios.htm
It tells you all about this castle dream!
Kisses and have a great trip
