No money in Miami.

Ahhh we woke up more than anxious!!!
It was already 10 a.m. and our plans were... to be shopping at that time!!! Had they put the money on the card?
We got our things and went to Best Buy, according to information there would be the cheapest place to buy my Nikon and GoPro! Or any other electronics (hint hint)
And a great place to test whether the card would go through... =/
And then... Purchase NOT made, card invalid... PQP... I was very sad because what I wanted most on that whole trip was to buy my camera and take better and better photos!!! =( Yes, I'm passionate about photos!
What now? Go back to the hotel... call the card again...
It's been over two hours, so what?
Look, sir, we've already passed the problem on to our superiors and they're trying to sort it out.
TOMORROW I'M IN BRAZIL, I'm here for ONE DAY of shopping... Just ONE DAY and I've already said that! Sort it out as soon as possible.
I'll do my best, it'll be OK in two hours!
Well, that's what I was told about 3 hours ago!!! I hope it really is!!! It's already 11 o'clock, what are we going to do???
Oh man, we'll end up missing the trip and not getting to know anything, the money won't come in... let's change the plans! We'll get to know a bit of the city and if there's time... we'll do some shopping... because from the looks of it... nothing will come in...
The weather was really beautiful, the winter very warm and a day worthy of a beach!!! Shall we put the bikini on? Well, as we didn't know if the money was going to come in or not... we went out in our normal clothes and I took my bikini in my bag =) along with a swimsuit and so on, in the bad case we would change and go to the beach and the shopping would be for another occasion =( as we had NO MONEY =(

The weather was getting hotter as the hours went by, hunger was also setting in and to save time we went to Mc Donald's drive thru, to save money too lol we ordered some nuggets and headed for Miami Beach!!! We walked along Ocean Drive and saw how pretty the bars and hostels are!!! I really wanted to stay there! But the places to stop were on the street and WAY too crowded!!! It was impossible to find a single spot!!! We found one in 4, 5 streets behind Ocean Drive =)
The first thing we did when we got out of the car was to test the card - would it go through? NOTHING!
It was past midday... what now? Oh well, to hell with it. We're not going to miss the trip because of their mistake.
we'll change and go to the beach!!! It's a beautiful day!!! I got in the car and put on my bikini right there hihihihi, but Igor was wearing PANTS!!! So we went to a store to buy some shorts and then we could go to the beach!!! 20 dollars... and the money, which was already short, got even shorter...
Mission accomplished! All ready and off to the beach we go!!! Ahh of course, before we could find a pay phone, another call was made 😉 and of course, they didn't answer!!!!! While we were walking to the beach, the bank manager calls...
Sir, it only says 200 dollars, did you deposit the rest? There's no deposit here! Only 200 dollars.
OF COURSE IT DOESN'T!!! THE 200 DOLLARS I TOOK IN CASH THE REST I PUT ON YOUR PREPAID CARD!!! AND I PAID EVERYTHING IN CASH!!!!!!
Oh yeah? Are you sure?
Of course I do! And look, I'm in another country, hungry and with almost no money, not to mention that I'm still paying for receiving this call from you, it's all very wrong!!!

Ai, ai, ai my salts... will it go now? Let's go to the beach and relax, because it's hot!
The view we had of the beach was of a wide strip of sand separated by vegetation and stakes telling us where to go in, we didn't see the beach until we passed them, just people playing volleyball, walking or dancing lol... We had no idea what awaited us!

And when we passed the entrance NOOOOSOSSSAAAA LORDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! What a beautiful place! Caribbean style, white sand with crystal blue water, something absurdly BEAUTIFUL, there our stress immediately passed and the problems remained for a while a few meters behind, waiting for us on the asphalt.
I was really happy with all the trouble! Because if it hadn't been for him, I wouldn't have been on the beach, but in a boring, cold shopping mall, and so on. All that beauty would have gone unnoticed and been left for another trip or time... Can you imagine? Frustrating! Don't miss the beach if you go to Miami! It's really worth it, it's so beautiful! Too bad I didn't have my Nikon with me yet... =/ and only my waterproof Olympus, but even that would have done a lot of damage hihihihi even more so in that water =)
We were walking to find a place to put the canga, when I heard something very familiar! There was FUNK going on in a stall HAuHAUHUAHuh it's funk in Portuguese and carioques.... I laughed my ass off, walked a little further and put my canga down by the water so I could run around and enjoy the beautiful sea!
