Fun for the little ones in the town of Santa's House
We hit the road and headed for Santa Claus' town, our little one is so excited about Christmas that we couldn't leave little Finland out! But the first question haunted our minds: Accommodation with children in Penedo, which one to choose?
We didn't want anything like a resort with lots of options, we wouldn't have time to enjoy it, it would be very quick.
Just one night, we took advantage of the mid-week holiday and off we went to find Santa's house in Penedo. This time my sister went along, a little 12-year-old who's attached to her nephew!

One more detail to think about: the room should accommodate more than just a couple! After all, it would be me, my husband and two children, so no matter how simple it was, it should have large rooms.
Sometimes we don't even care about the size of the room, because if we can't add an extra bed, the little one can fit in between us.
We researched a few options and decided on Pousada Santa Fé Penedo. We got in touch and managed to book our trip for the day we wanted.

We told them that it would be me, my husband, the little one and another 12-year-old. Very eager to visit Santa's house, we set off in the car that Peugeot had lent us and soon arrived at our destination and our accommodation with children in Penedo.
Ready for all the fun!
Bedroom
We stayed in the Luxury Suite, very spacious with a large bed, TV, minibar and a desk for us to work at - you know how much I love rooms with little tables lol.
There was also an armchair and an extra bed for my sister, so the little one ended up sleeping with us.

The bathroom was a good size, with a sink that was good for putting on make-up, a shower with a strong shower head and a hairdryer.

As soon as we arrived in our room, I could see how kindly they treat their guests! The towels were set up in the shape of an animal on the bed.

Emmanuel immediately noticed and then ran to jump on the bed, which I think is what he enjoys most when we arrive at any hotel.
Breakfast
This is my favorite part of hosting, Igor even calls me Magali sometimes, lol.
And Pousada Santa Fé Penedo certainly satisfied me, I was delighted with the variety of this meal!

I don't know if they were inspired by Christmas, but there were cakes, cupcakes and even chocotones, hummm.
Of course, the little one had the usual cheese bread and scrambled eggs! He loves them and without a doubt these delicacies can't be missing from his first meal of the day lol.

The hostel
Pousada Santa Fé Penedo is located at the top of the Vale do Ermitão road. With a privileged view of the Serra da Mantiqueira, sleeping there is complete peace and quiet, and waking up to that greenery is relaxing.

However, the pousada is not in the center of Penedo.
It's in the center that Little Finland is located, just 1.8 km away, but I'd still advise you to always do it by car, as there's a steep hill on the way.

The hostel has a very family atmosphere, being run by the whole family, giving us a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere throughout our stay with children in Penedo.

I love places that are taken care of down to the smallest detail. Pousada Santa Fé has classic Mexican architecture, it's beautiful! The beautiful swimming pool with a breathtaking view of the greenery is a must-see, and we enjoyed a refreshing dip as soon as we arrived.
When we went out for dinner, Igor wanted to drink, but because we were in the car I had to drive back, since I don't drink much.

Common areas
Despite being a hostel, it is relatively large, with plenty of space to explore.
The swimming pool is undoubtedly the icing on the cake, with harmonious architecture and a landscape where the green of the Serra da Mantiqueira is the finishing touch.

Right next to the pool, we found the Jacuzzi, where guests can enjoy a beautiful sunset and warm waters! Emmanuel loved spending some time with us there.

In addition to the beautiful swimming pool, you can also enjoy the games room with table tennis, board games or snooker.
For colder days, a living room with a fireplace is a delight.
There is also a beautiful garden, where spending a few minutes can be very peaceful and relaxing.
But if you still need something to take your mind off things, there's a spa at the inn that offers massages!
What we thought of our accommodation with children in Penedo.
I found the Pousada Santa Fé Penedo very romantic, to tell you the truth, and although it's not purely for children, we enjoyed the whole place.
The games room is great for spending time with older children.

We thought the breakfast was great and the pool was great fun to play in with the kids.
If there is up to one 3-year-old child in existing beds, there is no extra charge. This saves families money.
However, extra beds for older children or adults will be charged 30% of the room rate.
It was very quick, but I thought it was worth it and we loved our stay with children in Penedo!
