Last morning in Salvador.

Salvador Bahia barra beach

It wouldn't be the last day I'd wake up there, but the last day I'd have coffee!
Do you know when you feel nostalgic just because you know it's the last time?
I don't know when I was going to go back to that wonderful place... after all, I'm a girl of the world, right? But with every passing second, the desire to put that magical place at the top of my list grew!
I opened my eyes and saw that it was still very early... that day I fell out of bed at 7am and everyone was still asleep... I picked up my suitcase, took everything out of it, put it on the bed and started packing... Every piece of clothing I put in the suitcase was a thought and a very good memory of that place... a huge feeling of longing, of wanting to postpone leaving, to stay longer and longer... Packing that suitcase I really felt like I was watching and rewatching a movie I really liked!
Bag packed... I went to take my shower... changed my clothes and when it got to about 8:30 I woke everyone up... since we still had to have coffee 😉 and unfortunately it was my last in that very nice hostel and a corner that I already thought was mine...

We went downstairs to have coffee, and I had a dulce de leche with some bread, sucrillos and juice! We stayed there chatting for a long time... until we decided that we would enjoy the beach in the morning and go to the beach in the afternoon. Bonfim Church  and Ponta do Humaitá!
While we were eating, Dido was painting some shirts with a really cool thing! Like a device that shoots the paint out in a jet of air... Really beautiful work!

Ahhh we ran to the beach! I wanted to say goodbye to that lovely, clear sea... it would be a real shame not to go to the beach on the last day in that little place =)
We didn't stay very long, as we had a lot of things to do that day, but we were able to enjoy it... see the fish, take some pictures and still catch that wonderful sun! I wanted to make the most of my last moments in that place... because at that time the next day, I would be teaching in a closed weight room with no sea to calm me down...

Laísa even commented, while we were sitting on the coral, with our feet immersed in that delicious water and enjoying the scenery... Cris... have you ever thought? Tomorrow you won't be here... with any of this =(
A hint of sadness began to squeeze my chest... but I quickly shook it off... I didn't want to suffer before it happened and end up missing the chance to make the most of everything... droplets of tears wanted to come out... as I thought about how much I missed you and how good those days would have been... but I soon remembered that I was still there and I wasn't going to let anything spoil those last moments!
We ran to Che Lagarto again... we still had to have lunch... and then to Igreja and Ponta do Humaitá... and the surrounding area...
Salvador Bahia 2850729 - Cris Pelo MundoWe arrived, took a shower... changed and we all set off... Me, Marcos, Dido, Agnoell, Anderson, Márcia, Denise, Laísa... what a crowd!!! All looking for something to eat.
The boys took us along, until we saw feijoada in the Rio style... lol and decided to eat it right there!
We sat down, it was a very humble restaurant, but it looked good! And I was already waiting for FEIJOADA, with cabbage, farofa and so on...
Hunf... nothing like that... for them, feijoada carioca is rice, beans with meat and flour, but that's because everywhere else they eat everything with flour... it's on the table like salt! Hunffff
We stuffed ourselves, lol, even with this fake feijoada...
I confess I expected more... but... despite everything... lol the lunch was delicious!!! The food was delicious =D nham nhham, I just didn't think it was fair to call it feijoada, let alone FEIJOADA CARIOCA! lol
We left there very satisfied, went back to the hostel and waited for Diego to arrive to take us to the other tourist area that we hadn't been to yet...
We stayed there on the terrace chatting, while Diego came back from his college... to meet us...
*Continue...*
Ahhhh today is Anderson's birthday!!! Happy birthday young man! All the best today and always!!! =)
