The city is much more than just the City of Light!
When we think of Paris, we immediately imagine a romantic scene, don't we? So is Paris with children worth it? Are there things for the little ones to enjoy? Or will we feel like intruders and out of place?

I remember the first time I went to Paris with Igor, back in 2012. Two young people in love who didn't even notice anything relevant to children, so my view of the city was completely different from the one I had this time.

I've read a lot about Paris with children, but you know when you don't really believe it? After all, Paris is known as the most romantic city in the world, which doesn't go well with children running around.

I went with an open heart and I'm going to answer this question straight away and then substantiate my answer.
Is Paris with a child really worth it?
Yes and yes a thousand times! The city is completely prepared for children. There are even museums with special presentations for the little ones!
As well as trolley loans and sensational theme parks!
Let's not forget that Disneyland Paris is just a few kilometers from the center of Paris.

Plus, of course, the Asterix and Playmobil parks. Unfortunately we didn't have time to go to these two and we'll make the sacrifice of returning to the city another time lol.
Jokes aside, yes, Paris with children is a great place to go, and it doesn't stop at the parks.
I'm going to mention some of the attractions that we really enjoyed as a family:
Science Center
The Science and Technology Museum is located in the Villette ParkIt's actually a cluster of museums! In addition to the science and technologyyou can also find the planetariuma submarine on display, the huge 3D movie theater La Geode and the city of children.
The city of children, or as they call it, Cite des Enfantesis perfect and a must for anyone visiting Paris with children.
The attraction is divided into one and a half hour sessions and has separate areas for children aged 2 to 5 and 5 to 12.

Emmanuel got carried away and didn't want to stop playing. Of course, play always has some sort of teaching attached to it.

He became a builder, complete with protective clothing and everything! There he learned a lot about fitting, shapes and construction.
There's also a section that gives an idea of liquids and volume, or even different sizes, all designed just for the age of the little ones.

In the middle of the activity, there's a play telling the story of cocoa, it's in French, but you can have fun with the gestures, it's very playful.
The children's city is paid for separately!

We didn't go to La Geode, which is also separate, but all the other attractions took up the whole day!
The museum is large and has attractions for all ages, even Igor enjoyed a Formula 1 simulator.

Disney Paris
Of course, this is an attraction that can't be left out of a trip to Paris with children.
The magic of Disney is a must for any age, and visiting the parks around the world is simply incredible.

I loved the experience and it was worth taking the little one to meet the world's most famous mouse.
It's worth remembering that only at Disney Paris is there a whole area dedicated to the movie Ratatouille, which we love.
Find out more about Disney Paris here.
Eiffel Tower
Of course, if you go to Paris and don't see the Tower, it's as if you haven't been to Paris at all! This beautiful building deserves to be on absolutely every kind of itinerary.
Seriously, it's very appropriate when it comes to Paris with children!

Both sides of the Eiffel Tower are good for the little ones, whether it's the Trocadéro, which is full of carousels, balloons and even the Paris Aquarium, or the Champs de Mars with its large garden perfect for running, playing and picnics!

Don't forget to read about the markets, is a great way to buy picnic goodies.

Louvre
It's undoubtedly one of the most important museums in the world and a great place to take the little ones.
Everywhere there are elevators and accessibility for baby carriages or wheelchairs.
It also has an incredible collection! There are many rooms with different themes, so make sure you plan your visit so you don't miss anything.

They say you need three days to really get to know the Louvre.
Mummies and all the mysteries of Egypt are usually a big hit with children.

Of course, the famous Mona Lisa was also part of our itinerary. We presented the painting to Emmanuel and he thought she was sad, lol .

It's lovely to show your little one a bit of art and for them to begin to understand this universe.
We've heard that there are special days with themed performances for children, but you have to keep an eye on the dates.
Tuileries Gardens
Right in front of the Louvre is the Tuileries Garden, beautiful and great for enjoying another picnic.
It's very spacious and perfect for using up the little one's energy, as they can run around among the plants.

Spending the afternoon with the family is very enjoyable, especially with the scenery helping, you can see the shy Tower in the background.
If you walk a little further, you'll find a fountain with lots of ducklings! A sure hit with the little ones.
Palace of Discoveries
I already knew that Paris is full of museums, but I knew that there were several great museums for children.
O Palais de la Decouverte (Palace of Discoveries) is simply incredible, completely interactive!
The little ones can participate in the works and learn through play, I was very happy with all the interaction.
Of course, Igor and I took advantage of the opportunity and had twice as much fun.

You can discover so much about different worlds, physics, chemistry, mathematics, astronomy and biology! The sky's the limit and the fun never ends.
We were really delighted and the little one had a lot of fun.

We watched a chemistry presentation, all in French, but it was possible to understand some things.
Its location is great, at the end of the Champs Elysée next to the Grand Palais!
The Army
O L'Armée Museum is the Armed Forces Museum, also known as the Invalides Museum.
Of course, to go to Paris and not talk about Napoleon is absurd, because everything in the city refers to him!
The Arc de Triomphe itself was built to commemorate Napoleon's victories, the whole city breathes military history.

And it's in this museum that we can get a little closer to this story.
I'm not a big fan of war, let alone guns, but being able to see the little guy's clothes is pretty cool!

Napoleon's clothes really show how small he was!
We also have access to some strategy notebooks and things that were used in the wars.
As well as coming across the huge tomb where Napoleon's body lies.

Do you want to see Napoleon's famous White Horse? That's right, it's there stuffed for everyone to enjoy to this day.
The museum is huge and has many rooms with armor and history from Louis XIV to the Second World War.

The museum is also known as the Palace of the Invalids, because this is exactly where the soldiers who returned home from the wars were sheltered.
It was built in 1670 by command of Louis XIV.

The place is really beautiful and full of bunnies in its gardens, we loved the visit! Emmanuel had fun with the Napoleon hat he got at the ticket office.

Now that I've told you a bit about our experience with the little one in the city, let me know.
